Having been told that this was the best Indian in Kenilworth, I was very disappointed. Yes, the restaurant is very clean and tidy, the decor is good and the staff are friendly and polite. The service was a little on the slow side to my liking but the food was very well presented. It was the quality of the food that was questionable. I decided to order one of my favourite Indian meals - a murghi massala - which I have always been led to beleive is a massala containing minced lamb, chicken and a boiled egg in a savoury/spicy sauce.I was, therefore, quite surprised to be asked if I wanted chicken or lamb? I must admit I have never tried a lamb murghi massala and, although I was tempted, just to see what was brought from the kitchen, I resisted and asked for chicken. I was then asked if I wanted extra chillies to spice up the dish. My reputation dictated a positive response. I had requested a portion of mushroom pilau rice to accompany the main dish.After a while - to be fair the resturant was busy - the food arrived. The rice was rather sparce. The chicken was good, tender and juicy, but I had a job to locate the lamb mince, the extra chilli turned out to be 1 very small piece of fried green chilli and did nothing to enhance the taste. It was the egg though that really spoiled the whole thing. It had obviously not been freshly boiled, probably lying around in cold water for some time, as the yolk was in a well advanced state of turning green.The Curry Monster

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! The worst food i have ever eaten the quality of the meat was laughable, the service was dreadful, tried to get a refund but refused. STAY CLEAR!

Studley Spice has the all the right ingredients for a Indian restaurant. The service is fab, the food is mind blowing, they will go out of their way to accommodate a customers needs. You will get a warm welcome and will fall in love with the place. I have visited this restaurant about three times in two weeks and cant get enough! Brilliant place! :)

Hi everyone, just writing a quick review about Studley Spice....Well im from Studley and have lived here best part of my life (47Yrs) and Studley Spice have constantly got better and better with their service, choice of food, decor and just general feel to the place. The food Studley Spice make is simply bursting with different and original flavors. The restaurant itself is very modern and clean..the staff are just genuinely nice people and work very hard..I love this place and would very highly recommend everyone to go to Studley Spice as it is a fantastic and well reputed place to dine.. Just had the best value meal ever in Bamboodle. Food very tasty and perfect portions. Well done to all concerned.

Had 2 meals at the acorn recently. We have had gammon, steak and lasagna....all were nice. 2 for £10 for the gammon. Can't beat it really. Service relatively good. Prices of bottles of wine decent. A good place to go for a bite with the family/friends but wouldn't go for a special occasion.

Hi Peoples! Yep i agree with all the reviews of Studley Spice. I'm not gonna try and sound like the rest but its hard not to! Studley spice really is fab! Brill! Lovely! i had my birthday party there last week. There was around 35 of us. (We were very loud lol) But Studley Spice coped with us no problem. The waiters are smart, very informative and well spoken. We tried the ever famous Studley Spice 'All you can eat buffet' and boy i tell you it was brilliant! The service was brill and the food was piping hot and very tasty. Just to clarify peoples the buffet here is fresh unlike some places! I have booked my table to eat at Studley Spice with my hubby on Valentines night for the all you can eat buffet and i'm sure it will be a night to remember! Had a lovely meal in a relaxed place

Hello everyone, i tried Studley Spice yesterday with my girlfriend and our three year old son..I must admit i thought the quality and presentation of each dish was amazing. I love the buffet and i cant believe i never tried this restaurant before. The mood in the restaurant is nice and welcoming, nice colour scheme with very nice leather chairs. The food is so tasty and well presented. The buffet consisted of over 100 dishes to choose from and each that me and my other half chose were cooked fresh and bought to the table. The service was class, the waiters were friendly and funny at the same time. After we finished our meal we were given a takeaway menu and i realised that they even do a FREE delivery service all around Studley and Redditch etc. I also liked the fact that my three year old was not charged! because some places charge for even a little new born! But not Studley Spice they are brilliant.Studley Spice is a charming little restaurant in the heart of Studley they offer brilliant food at very very very affordable prices. I have already got my office party booked for xmas and i cant wait! Studley Spice is the place to be!

very Bland, poorly cooked, overpriced food. Very poor house white. Fast service, pleasant waiter, until faced with complaint about undercooked and bloody pork, when told we buy it raw but normally cook it!No apology or recompense New restaurant, won't be here in 6 months. Don't waste your money or time

Studley Spice is EXCELLENT! All the reviews here are bang on! Top restaurant with classy food and a legendary reputation. In my view Studley Spice should change its name to "SUPERB SPICE" !!!!!!!!!!

hiya guys! i read the reviews on this and thought ill give this restaurant a try. well let me tell you something I've been eating curries for a while now and studley spice by far knocks all other curry houses off their perches! mind blowing food and great service they even deliver for free!!! The buffet is just lovely great taste and freshly prepared made to order! I adore the service and the food easy going guys and smart restaurant! 5 STAR ALL AROUND!!!

Fabulous restaurant with beautifully cooked and presented food. This is a must ........with menus changing every month. I would definitely recommend.

again, we were not disappointed with our meals earlier this week. we were on a tight time scale as my husband had a planned hospital admission at 10 the same evening. A quiet word with Mr and Mrs napper resulted in a beautiful three course meal with coffee before we had to leave. Unfortunately we had to let our friends have all the chocolate truffles due to lack of time to enjoy them!! Recommend this restaurant for a special meal. Don,t forget to ask for your tea and coffee to be served in the conservatory where the squashy chairs and sofas are ideal for relaxing after such a super meal. You will not be disappointed if you choose to eat here..

Hello everyone! i have just come across this website and read all the brill reviews of Studley Spice. I just couldn't hold back and had to add my own. Well, here it goes......Studley Spice is the ideal location for friends, families, couples and groups. They cater for all sorts of parties which include birthdays, anniversaries hen/stag nights etc. The food is delicious and ever so fresh their buffet is out of this world. They have got pleasant waiters/bar staff and the restaurant itself is very modern and has got plenty of parking spaces both front and back of the restaurant. You have to try the chicken pakoras and their 'Naga' dish which is very very tasty! i love visiting Studley Spice and if you haven't yet you are seriously missing out! go on give them a try! STUDLEY SPICE IS SUPERB!
