We eat at Othello's every one or two weeks and have done so for quite a long time. We have never been disappointed with Jerry's food or Maria's service. We highly recommend Othello's to all our family and friends.

The Ying Wah is a great little place which has been serving great Chinese food for as far back as I remember (at least 25 years) The service is always quiet and polite but not intrusive (like some Chinese places in Manchester) and the food is always served reasonably quickly.

This is the 2nd time we have visited Othellos and once again we were not disappointed. They are very family orientated. Othello's Special Lamb is delicious as is the Othello's chicken which even our baby couldn't get enough of.

My partner and I are both vegetarian and often struggle to find a decent menu to choose from. All that changed when we went to Othello?. It was absolutely fab. We could choose from a varied veggie menu or the veggie banquet which was either a fish and veggie mix or just veggie. We could choose from an abundance of dishes available and settled for an 18 dish veggie banquet which was fantastic. When we stated we didn? like the garlic mushrooms (just don? like mushrooms), they where replaced immediately with a delicious veggie moussaka. We can? recommend this place enough, especially if you are veggie. The owners are fantastic and try and meet your every need. We, and our friends, will definitely be back. Thank you Othello. Also I would like to add that it was a very fair price. We had a veggie banquet for 2 and 2 litres of wine for less than £60.An absolute bargain.

I first went to Othello's on my friend, from LIPA, Laura's recommendation. I had never eaten Greek food before but she told me it could not be missed. She was more than right. The meal was amazing and well worth the 30min bus trip out from the city centre. I loved the pink dip called the Taramo something with the soft hot bread. My main meal of Chicken Aphrodite was heaven. I will definitely be back and let my friends know about it. Muchas Gracias Othello's Ana Mata

We dined at this restaurant on a Saturday I would recommend booking a table as it was very busy and they were turning people away at the door. Food was excellent and all courses were delicious would definitely recommend this restaurant if you love Greek food. The only gripe I would have would be that the restaurant is not non-smoking, and the people sitting directly behind us were constantly smoking in between their courses which was when we were eating and being a non-smoker that does annoy me. But other than that is was a lovely place will be going again.

There is no better value for money Chinese restaurant in the North of England

Having recently visited Othellos with friends from Florida, who are of a Greek background, we were all in agreement that the food was absolutely beautiful, authentic and fabulously presented. The service was incredible, friendly and served by wonderfully friendly staff who went out of their way to be attentive and very helpful when choosing our dishes. Highly recommended. Lovely evening had by all. We did not want to leave!!!!

Having heard about Othello? Restaurant in Liverpool, My Husband and I decided we must give it a try, so on our Wedding Anniversary we decided to do just that, we travelled from Warrington with the Family, and on our arrival we were delighted with the warm and friendly reception we received, the staff couldn? do enough to make you comfortable, and help with ordering your food if you needed it, the food was out of this world, no matter what you ordered and my Family did order quite a few different dishes, also the atmosphere was very friendly, as quite a number of people were in the Restaurant, and I definitely would not hesitate to travel there again, it was well worth the experience.

Having discovered Othello's about a year age, and enjoyed a number of meals there, I chose it as the place I wanted to go with friends and family for my 50th birthday meal. Given that there were 20 in our party (along with other diners in the restaurant, including another sizeable party), the service was outstanding. The starters for all of us arrived together, as did the main course. Everything was beautifully cooked, and both friends and family who had not been there before were very impressed with the quality of the food. The choice of Greek dishes is impressive to sat the least, and makes choosing very difficult. Price, given what you get, is extremely reasonable. Many thanks to Maria and the staff for making my 50th such a memorable evening. We will be back soon.

I visited Othello's on a Fathers day Sunday evening with my partner, who was a bit dubious to try Greek food but he decided to give it a go. As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was lovely. There was a lot of families and couples enjoying their meals whilst traditional Greek music played in the background and all the tables were candlelit and really well presented. The waiter came over with our menus and was really friendly and helpful, explaining exactly what accompanied each dish. For starters I chose the king prawns in garlic sauce with pitta bread and tahini sauce, my partner chose a thick Greek vegetable soup with garlic bread. All the starters were faultless and beautifully well presented. Once we had finished the waiter promptly came to take the plates and asked if we were ready for the main course or if we would like a break. I was really pleased that we had the option, as some restaurants rush you. We decided that we were ready because neither of us could wait to taste the main courses! My partner played it safe with a steak and i chose a chicken kebab. Both dishes came with rice, salad and thick cut potatoes that were delicious and again, were wonderfully presented. We also ordered a side order of creamy Aphrodite sauce which complemented both meals beautifully. My partner said his steak was one of the best he had ever tasted and my cubes of chicken melted in my mouth. It was fantastic food, really authentic and it filled us up nicely. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience and we will most certainly be visiting again. I was also pleasantly surprised at the bill, for all our food and 2 soft drinks, it came to £41. It was well worth it and we left a generous tip to show our appreciation. If you are looking for fantastic food in a nice area at a reasonable price visit Othello's. 10/10.

I visit Allerton hall on a number of occasions, the food is v good and the staff are really nice and helpful, id really recommended Allerton Hall, and ill definitely be back next week

A gem of a restaurant!! Quite possibly the most wonderful dining experience we have enjoyed in a couple of years. The ambience is warm and relaxing, the service pleasantly unhurried and attentive to detail, the front of house staff helpful, friendly and professionally discreet. The food was outstanding, prepared and presented to perfection. Regarding prices, we were 2 adults and 2 children having 5 starters,4 main courses, large beer and small beer, a litre of lovely house red, 2 cokes, jug of iced water, melon and grapes...£85.00 which is no more expensive than any of the Greek restaurants we have visited before...and there are many! Wonderful views as well as subtle and enjoyable music. A real treat...thank you.

We stumbled across this place quite by chance and I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere is very laid back and the place is decorated traditionally with an almost gothic feel. The food was great with chalked specials boards. Love it! Might even go back this afternoon!

When visiting my mother-in-law in Liverpool we visited this wonderful restaurant in a former bank. The food was fantastic and the service even better - the hostess went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommended.
