Lovely food at a great price

Spot on

We travelled from Sheffield as we’ve been waiting for the new place to open and get booked in. We enjoyed the food as we had a good amount of food and paid for the extra amount to have the Mac and cheese included. I was happy either the price and the food we had as a mixture of mutton, chicken and lamb which was seasoned nicely. Would recommend as the new place atmosphere was nice and the service of the staff was lovely, they watched over our daughter whisky we went for our food. Thanks

My Wife and I had a Carvery on Sunday. This was excellent, we really enjoyed it. There is a lovely atmosphere and the Staff were brilliant.

We had another fantastic meal on Sunday and will be returning again. Great atmosphere and very welcoming place. The staff are really helpful it was all very well organised and we were looked after well by Selina and Amy.

First time visiting, table of 4, we all said how nice our food was,I had lamb and chicken both had plenty of flavour was brought out fresh, staff came and told us we were able to go back up for more potatoes and veg as they are unlimited which we didnt expect,loved the decor, staff were really friendly and polite. We will definitely be back soon x

Visited on a Saturday evening, all staff very friendly, food was nice and hot but we did get there for 5.30 and food was ready to be served at 6pm. We were not told that you had to order the fish separately, shame the mac n cheese is an extra when other carvery's sell it part of the meal. Roast potatoes was lush crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy in the middle. Environment was clean and tidy. We would be happy to visit again.

My daughter recommended the golden goose and I was really impressed with the service , and good value for money too .. It’s nice to have a decent portion of meat , not wafer thin slices you get at a Toby carvery . I will be visiting very soon with my wife and I’ve already booked a table for Boxing Day too !

First visit - Nice atmosphere, food a mixture of lamb, chicken and mutton. I did find the mutton a little bland. Food wasn't very hot but tasty. I was expecting a little more with the carribean food. We were there early but started getting busy about 6.30 onwards so not sure how quick the service was. Staff lovely

It's been a long time since we've visited, and no idea why as it was just as fabulous as we remembered. Generous portions, lots of choices and just as delicious as I remembered. We booked and would certainly recommend doing so if you don't want to be waiting for an hour at least to be allocated a table. The only negative, and it wasn't a major thing, out plates weren't particularly warm so the food did go cold a bit but not overly so.

Went here for Sunday lunch yesterday. Food was really good ..normally go to large chain carvery and this place beats it hands down . Good value for money. Will definitely visit again.

We booked a table for 15 here yesterday for my son’s 18th birthday and while the food was gorgeous was lovely to have a unique spin on the classic roast dinner staff are very friendly. I also liked that they came to your table to let you know when you could go to the carvery, so you weren’t stood in a massive queue, definitely will be coming again . The only thing I would say is service could be a little bit faster and more polite, but other than that very nice experience

We had been looking forward to sampling the Caribbean roast, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Despite our table being ready on time and being met with a friendly welcome, there were no hot drinks available and the atmosphere was noisy and lacked ambience. We ordered our food and then waited an hour before being served! The lamb was slightly tough, the chicken was better, although lacked depth of flavour, our favourite was the goat curry, apart from the abundance of bones to pick over. Vegetables were adequate but lacked variety, plentiful but nothing special. We were then warned that we had to give up our table for the next booking, We would not rush back!
