as always the food was perfect. Everything is cooked to perfection & so very tasty. The servers are also very attentive & always on hand if needed. This is the best carvery ever & they also give a variety of other options if you don’t want the carvery. You get taken to your table then go up the bar to purchase your food & any drinks. You then queue up which is never too long & get the meat carved for you. & offered one of their huge Yorkshire puddings You help yourself to veg & gravy. You will be very impressed week worth a visit

Went opening night, as with any first day there was teething issues but thats to be expected. The carvery was nice, meat beautiful but not much of it, not many choices of veggies and no dumplings, which would have been nicer than a yorkshire pudding! We ordered the mac & cheese but waited so long my nephew had eaten his food so didnt bother with it, so a few timing issues to be ironed out as there was also a wait on the lamb. The place looked lovely and atmosphere was good, friendly staff. Overall will definitely go back.

Visited on opening evening for the carvery. The place looks great and the atmosphere was spot on. The portion sizes were very good although could have done with more meat which was absolutely delicious, especially the curry mutton! The only negative was that on arrival we had quite a wait as they had run out of mash & roast potatoes which shouldn't really be happening on opening day. Hopefully just teething problems and won' be long before this place becomes a well established Caribbean eatery which is much needed in Bromsgrove.

Went to the open night The food was really tasty we had carvery. Staff were accommodating There is room for improvement for sure as in portion size how the carvery is set up It was the first night so you expect some issues. Was little disappointed with the bar area not much sitting and mostly high tables and chairs. We got there little earlier and was waiting for others to join us so would have been nice to sit down and wait in little comfort. Restaurant area is very nicely decorated

Went to Christopher’s on its opening day. Atmosphere and music was brilliant and good to see some old locals in the bar area. The place looked great after its recent refurbishment. The food however I felt was a little disappointing. The vegetables looked as if they were frozen and the mashed potato was gloopy. The roasters were nice although a little plain. The rice and plantain was delicious but I am not sure a Yorkshire pudding belongs with Caribbean food. The mac and cheese was very bland. Although the roast chicken and lamb was delicious the portions of the meat were very small. I think they were running out but the shining star of the food though was the mutton curry. Absolutely melted in the mouth. I would go back and have the curry and rice but not sure I would go back for the carvery. The weekday menu is supposed to be different so I will be going back in to try that. I really hope Reece can improve on these few issues and really make a go of the place.

Can honestly say it is the best in warwickshire and Worcestershire ,Birmingham and far far further. Lovely staff, gentleman at front of house is superb, bar and waiting staff friendly helpful polite which is a hard to find, kitchen staff unbelievable . Food choices galore, very good portions and all fresh. Must visit place, worth driving to. The comments about poor food is more about them having poor taste.

Great carvery great food and atmosphere, my only slight gripe is that the price of food and drink seems to have increased significantly. £7 for a child’s carvery of one piece of gammon, one scoop of mash a Yorkshire and a spoon of peas and sweetcorn. Maybe offer a todderley carvery at £3?

I visited for the first time yesterday for a carvery, after reading good reviews. The food is way overpriced, the carvery was subpar and that’s being kind. How you can claim that you’re ’the best carvery’ is a joke. Staff however are friendly and helpful, even thought it was really busy.

We visited on Monday night. The pub was quiet but we were put in the conservatory which is nice but too dark. The carvery has a good selection but it’s look warm. The meat was cold the veg wasn’t much warmer either. It’s good value for money just a shame it wasn’t enjoyable to eat as it wasn’t hot.

1st visit for my best friend's birthday. Cod& chips were excellent & good value too. Others in our party had the carvery and were also impressed with the quality. Desserts were basic but good. Service was friendly but became slower as it became busier which is understandable
