The Coffee House, Wavertree(Review by Jackie Duggan)

Worked at this pub years ago and still go in now and again for a drink. Service standards are atrocioius, staff just not aware of what of people coming in, making them welcome, too busy just gabbing to friends and other staff or looking at mobile phones. Shame, just going down the pan, what's happened to customer service?

Death Row Diner, Liverpool City Centre(Review by Lisa H)

Visited here after seeing them advertised on Sugarvine and thought they sounded interesting. Quirky restaurant with friendly, helpful staff and good food. Best Bloody Mary I have had in a long time and loved the fact it was served in a jam jar.

Bistro 21
Bistro 21, Southport(Review by Patricia Baker)

In Southport for a conference and looking for a restaurant that served more than pasta for the vegetarian option on a Sunday evening. So pleased we found Bistro 21. It certainly is a local gem. The food was delicious and beautifully served. Several veggy options as well as their usual menu and excellent value too. Lovely ambience but get there before 7.30pm or you'll miss a treat.

Visit with my family (young and old) quite often and have always been well catered staff tending to my children's needs or charming my spot on for the price too. Highly recommend, great pub with the staff to match.

The Rocking Horse, Aintree(Review by Jan)

Sorry my review isn't very good I found the place dirty, food very poor, dirty glasses, waited too long for food, a hole in the wall with wires in it . Wouldn't ever go back needs a good clean really . Looks lovely on the outside not good at all on the inside could be a lovely place to go. I would pay a lot more for food if it was clean an looked after, which it clearly isn't.
