Great place to meet friends and family! We've been coming here since it opened and when we take people they have commented on how lucky we are to have such a good place close to home.Lively and has a great buzz. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. The food is good and the Prosecco is excellent and reasonably priced. Good range of cocktails.More Pioneer Bar and Brasserie, Crosby reviews

We often come here for food as the kids love it and it's round the corner from us! The food is ok but the staff are shocking!! The same woman stands in the same place staring at us whilst we are eating our food! This makes me so uncomfortable and I feel like throwing my drink on her!!More Hong Sing, St.Helens reviews

In February, we booked for a hen party of 16 for July 9th 2016. We specifically asked for tables on the altar either side of the DJ. When we arrived we were given two booths, in what was essentially a corridor, with a kitchen leading off at one end of our booths and the toilets leading off at the other end. We were told that we had been put there because they thought we would like to be together. They did not contact us to inform us of their decision. The Manager was unhelpful and unsympathetic. He offered us no alternatives or compromises. I spoke to him this morning. He informed me that under no circumstances would he provide me with a customer complaints policy. He then later admitted that there wasn't one. I asked who I should contact at their Head Office address, which is on the website. He said that had now closed down and that I could not complain to the owners. He was rude, defensive unsympathetic and appeared to have no customer service skills. I stated that perhaps he could refund the difference between the £600 we had paid in advance and the amount we had spent, as a gesture of goodwill. He categorically stated that there would be no refund.More Alma De Cuba, Liverpool City Centre reviews
Went to The Brink for afternoon tea. Disaster. The telephone booking was not registered so we waited and hour and a half to be served. Well what can I say the scones were shop bought.. We had two small pieces of cake. A slither of mint chocolate and carrot cake, one small strawberry and some tasteless blueberries and a slice of lemon ( why I don't know ). The finger sandwiches were made out of thick bread and were the smallest slithers of bread I have ever seen. The contents were abysmal I am sorry to say. The jam was dolloped out a big container and was still in the shape of the tub and the cream was not fresh. We were given free mocktails. I wish we weren't they were awful. On a plus the tea and coffee were fine. Sorry but won.t re visit.More The Brink, Liverpool City Centre reviews
