The Denbigh – BexhillOur lunch, a Paella, at 'Into the Blue' was tasty and delicious, served in an amazing pot. We found the restaurant and staff to be very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend. and certainly be going back again!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe went to Pie Night and thoroughly enjoyed the steak pie and the fidgety pie. Packed with meal and beautifully cooked. Lots of veg on the side. I would question whether potatoes are necessary when the pie has pastry or a mash potato topping so I swapped mine out for extra veg. We will certainly visit again. Great service - very friendly. Dog friendly too.
The Denbigh – BexhillThe only thing that I was not happy with was the church pew that I sat on along with another couple on the next table. The bench constantly moved back and forward as the couple moved. I didn’t feel I could ask them to sit still. Better seating would have improved my experience Everything else was great thanks
The Denbigh – BexhillGroup of 6 of us for Scallop Fest. We had a great evening . The food and service were very good . Nice scallop specials . We all left happy
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeA very special find on Shoreham Beach. A warm and friendly welcome was just the start of a wonderful evening. The talented kitchen team produced dishes of the highest quality. Scallops were perfectly cooked, and served in a luscious champagne sauce. Our grilled Dover Sole was properly de-boned for service, and presented with a lovely shrimp garnish. We will certainly be returning!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had a lovely relaxing experience, service and team very good and we really enjoyed our food !
Pissarro’s – HastingsFirst visit and loved it service was amazing food was lovely .( we should of stated no garlic ) but thats our fault .everything was perfect . We will be back .could not ask for a nicer evening
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaVery interesting pub with great decor. Decent choice of beers. Staff seemed quite stressed on a Saturday night and we would have appreciated a bit more warmth considering we were a group of 6 with a large bill. Cannot fault the food which was lovely, but we had to return a bottle of French Sauvignon blanc and waitress seemed quite put out. Overall a nice evening but please make your guests feel a bit more appreciated.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeHad a great meal on Saturday 28th Feb, drinks nibbles .started on the scallops ,wonderful my main was the best rump steak I have ever had great night out very enjoyable experience...10 out of 10
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeOne of my very favourite places in Rye and it never fails.. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, eclectic setting and friendly service.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeI went to this restaurant on Friday night and it was fabulous. The food was superb - Masterchef worthy fish dishes - and the atmosphere, service was second to none. This is by far the best restaurant in Shoreham by Sea but I would gos so far to say this is the best fish restaurant in Sussex!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAnother great meal for 16 of us upstairs at The Globe. Elio and the team made us very welcome and the food was 1st class.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeExcellent as usual! Delicious food. Splendid service. Reasonable prices. Couldn’t ask for more
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaIt's the only place, that I know of, in my area that I can get Steak and Kidney pudding - homemade too. It's full of big chunks of steak and kidney and the pastry is a delight. If I could just teach Southerners that gravy should nearly stand up for itself it would be perfect lol. It was Rye Scallops week when we went and 2 of our party had the scallops with lobster bisque risotto and our 4th had the fish pie. We all enjoyed our meals. Although we were getting full we managed to have dfssert. Crimble Crumble and custard. A good end to a wonderful meal.
The Denbigh – BexhillLovely quirky atmospheric place, very fritndly and helpful staff and dog friendly too. Food was very nice (we went in Rye Scallop Festival Week so didn’t try the main menu but it looked good.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeHi, I had lunch with a friend yesterday and the meal was fabulous as it always is. I recommend the smoked salmon and avocado on toast, which was my choice and my friend had the omelette and chips. Also really good.
Pissarro’s – HastingsAbsolutely delicious and reasonably priced.
