Lovely restaurant with very friendly and natural staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is very relaxed and unpretentious and the food was excellent, with possibly the best Tempura prawns we’ve ever tasted. Would wholeheartedly recommend for a nice, relaxed meal with excellent food, served by very attentive staff.

Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe visited here a few days ago. I wasnt keen on where our table was , facing the kitchen. I would have preffered a table in a cosy corner. I ordered a bottle of wine. It was plonked on the table by the waiter who didnt open the bottle and pour wine into my glass. Two of us ordered burgers and two of us ordered rump of lamb. My party tell me the burgers were okay nothing special. My lamb wasnt pink enough for me and I wasnt keen on the accompliments with it ....I left half of my meal....

Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWas welcomed with a friendly smile, table was reserved where we asked. Food was absolutely wonderful, good choice of wines. Food served in a timely fashion, and was very hot and cooked really well. The service was excellent and we will be going back again.

This time it was made all the easier thanks to online booking for 6 people to dine last Thursday evening. The food is tasty, well presented and there are plenty of choices. We look forward to returning in late February before our next Rye golfing adventure.

Ancient Grains – EastbourneThe staff were warm and welcoming and the atmosphere cheerful and bright but the food was not good. We both had the daily specials - my fish platter was dry, slight in content, the only tasty thing was the mackerel pate, my husband had pork with watermelon which he said just did not work, we noticed that our fellow dinners opposite left a lot of their food - keep it simple! Before retiring I was a chef.
