Very disappointed with quality of meal and Sunday lunch menu was very limited. Understaffed. Building and exterior has been done very nice.

Very disappointed with quality of meal and Sunday lunch menu was very limited. Understaffed. Building and exterior has been done very nice.
The Royal Oak – NantwichService was a bit slow, but the restaurant itself was nice. Overall food was good, however I’d avoid the cheesecake, not sure how you can get that so wrong and the coffee wasn’t nice. Appeared to be a lot of colleagues working with some friendlier than others, but all appeared very distracted. Would go back again though.
The Royal Oak – NantwichReally great food, Super services and a good atmosphere. Looking forward to eating there again soon.
Sabrosa – OxtonWhat a foodie place, care is taken in every dish..and what food ! Amazing both food and service, you will not be disappointed.
The Salt Bar – MacclesfieldService could have been better but enjoyed food. Portions were a bit too large for me so we needed a doggy bag.
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldThe food was awful. The veg was raw. I couldn’t get my fork into it. My roast chicken was very bland and cold. With some sort of sauce squirted on the top. The starters were average.
The Royal Oak – NantwichBooked for 7pm on a Tuesday. We only had mains and they took a long time to come out. The staff are great, if a little frazzled! My friend didn’t like her curry so they refunded it even though she had eaten some of it. The lemon cheesecake, is a plain cheesecake with lemon zest on top - which was a little odd. The decor and atmosphere was lovely. I would go back and hope that the meals come out a bit quicker.
The Royal Oak – NantwichArrived and the restaurant had no record of our reservation (note the request to leave a review just came from said booking system) but we were found a table as we arrived relatively close to opening. Almost an hour for the food to actually arrive ( when much larger tables ordered after us and got their food a long time before us) and then the toddlers meal was delayed. Lovely setting, poor service, disappointing food.
The Royal Oak – NantwichExcellent restaurant, stumbled across it when we looked for a birthday venue for my daughter a few months back. Visited 3 times now and always equally great service and great food.
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldThis was our first visit and we loved the live music. The food was excellent and the portion sizes did not overface you. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would go again
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldThe staff were very happy to help when there was a problem with a drink, food was lovely and nice atmosphere.
The Royal Oak – NantwichUnreal!! The best lasagne I’ve ever eaten! Same as the garlic bread with cheese! We eat here regularly , amazing
Elmas Restaurant – LymmWe had a lovely meal at The Royal Oak. It was reasonably priced, staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean.
The Royal Oak – NantwichBrilliant food and atmosphere as usual
Lilac Cottage Tapas & Wine Bar – MacclesfieldWe visited Babba Saturday evening and were greeted by friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. We went for the cold meze for starter which was lovely, with enough food to serve 5 people happily. We then had various options from the large menu, they did not disappoint. I personally went for the lamb chops which were gorgeous. Waiters were attentive throughout and we had a great time. The only thing I would like more about Babba was if it was busier, with a better atmosphere. However this didn’t blur tue great time we had. Would definitely recommend.
Babba – WarringtonBooked in for another great lunch. Food lovely and delicious. Service is brilliant. Very welcoming. A great place to have lunch with a friend and we really enjoy visiting.
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortLove this place & unhappy it’s not our local, or we would be living here! The staff are always super welcoming & go out of their way to ensure we have the best experience, thank you. We always eat from the Bistro menu as we find the main menu a bit la-di-da & expensive for us, but the Bistro menu has all the usual pub suspects at a very reasonable prices. Also, they stock some really good ales, though they have stopped doing 2 of our favourites, Sam Adams & Maltsmiths, but we did find a perfectly good substitute, Head something that I’ve forgotten. Go along, you won’t be disappointed. Brian & Gill xx
The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortGreat pub, loved the internal decor, staff very friendly and attentive, fab service. However food was disappointing and service a little slow.
