This is the best restaurant in Wirral. It is small but the owners are selecting ingredients of the highest standard, cooking them simply and serving them with a pride and care that is rare in most other establishments. There is a very good wine list of Italian wines which are great value
Da Piero – Irbyfood was horrible service was crap and very expensive my wife felt like we was neglected il never go back to bombay don't recommend it at all
Bombay Restaurant – CreweNice indian restaurant in a nice town, I wasn't expecting it to be busy on a Wednesday night and so decided not to book, when we went in there my family of 7 we waited about 15 minutes for a table, after we was seated the staff were very polite and helpful in choosing the menu. I really enjoyed the meal as i will be returning back. There was a dish which we pick and one of the waiters flames the meal up in brandy which was good to see, the dish was really nice and surprising. thank you very much for looking after my family
Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamFantastic food, great service, lovely surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be returning soon.
Britannia Spice – ParkgateLovely food, well presented & excellent value for money. Staff were very friendly and polite. Will go out of my way to sample the rest of the menu.
The Limes – SandbachMy husband and I recently spent 2 nights at The Cottage. We were very impressed with the relaxed atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant and were able to choose from a comprehensive menu. Our evening meals were delicious on both nights, and were cooked to perfection. The staff were both friendly and attentive- nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was also a big success. We felt that the cost of our stay at The Cottage represented extremely good value for money. We shall definitely be making a return visit in the near future
The Cottage – Knutsfordwell what can I say I love this place. spot on chicken balti and the bombay potatoes. Staff are very polite and lovely people As i also noticed that this place is busy during this recession, I could not blame them as there food is nice. I would like to thank you for the meal
Frodsham Tandoori – Frodshamfantastic food!!! We went to celebrate a birthday and we were in a group of 9 people. I'm a vegetarian as is my 9 yr old daughter but we were spoilt for choice at Elements. We've been to many all you can eat buffet restaurants including overseas and I have to put elements top of my list of favourites. Its also extremely great value for money if like my husband you have a big appetite then it will suit you down to the ground. I'm definitely a fan of this place and can't wait to go again, hope this helps someone!
Fuxion Oriental – Ellesmere Portmy partner and I went to the midland with no knowledge other than "brewers fayre" It was a pleasant surprise as the food was excellent, the service perfect and very attentive and surroundings were beautiful. we don't rave very often but do complain if need be and this has set a good standard for others !
The Midland – MarpleIf you want to treat yourself and your family to a really good Sunday Lunch, you cannot get better than here. The Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pud is as good as the best your mother could make. Probably better than most mother's, but not mine, I come from a family that appreciates and knows about good cooking and that is what you get here. I don't say they never get anything wrong, once I had an overdone (burnt) yorkshire pud, but the beef was perfect, the creamed leeks excellent and the rest of the veg. all you could wish for. I know that was a one off and would happily spend every Sunday here!
Barlounge – ChesterIf you want to enjoy a really good Chinese meal in Chester, this is your only option. Do not be put off by the setting, I was for years and consequently missed out for far too long. The tables are very close together and the decor is rather 'kitsch', but the food and service are both great. If you live close by and want to have a takeaway, it isn't a cheap option, but, it is usually ready in 15mins and you will be able to enjoy a restaurant quality meal in the comfort of your own home.
Cherry Valley Eating House – ChesterExcellent service. Fantastic menu choice. Outstandingly good food. Have been three times now and chosen different dishes each time. Would give full marks for every single meal.
Aroi-Thai – NantwichWe recently dined at the Cabbage Hall restaurant for my husband’s birthday, as we were intrigued to sample the menu since the new ownership. I firmly believe that the food was very over rated. We both had the chicken broth to start which we both agreed was taste less. We were absolutely shocked as the Head Chef Robert philosophy is to use local produce so were completely disappointed when the vegetables in the broth were tasteless. So we can only assume that the vegetables were over cooked. My husband ordered the steak for his main course (medium/well) and it was presented to him rare. We highlighted this to the head waiter and he quickly returned it back to the kitchen. 15 minutes had past and my husband was presented with a new steak. At this time I had completed my main course so we both ate alone and my husband at that time had completely lost his appetite and only ate a small amount, commenting that the Steak was tasteless. Shocking that such a renowned restaurant could get something as simple as cooking a fillet steak completely wrong. We then decided to call it a night and requested for the bill, the total charge with a bottle of wine was £130.00. Which in normal circumstances if the food is of extreme quality is a reasonable sum to pay? In our instance this was not. I did question the bill and suggested it would have been a nice gesture if they had adjusted the bill for the shortcomings. To our dismay the Head Chef (Robert) cam bolting over to our table, and aggressively said to us "Do you have a Problem" we explained the situation but he seemed to get even more irate and began to shake. "What a fabulous Birthday experience" My husband paid the bill and we left promptly. So I suppose my recommendation is that we would never eat there again and perhaps people should travel that little further to Restaurant 1539 where they ooze excellent hospitality. Hopefully a member the Cabbage Hall staff will read my posting, if so please pass a recommendation to the Proprietor/Head Chef (Robert) as the old saying states "stick to your knitting". In other words stay in the kitchen and don't do front of house as he obviously does not have the skills to do this with panache
Pesto at Cabbage Hall – TarporleyFantastic food. Excellent choice of wines- would recommend the bellinis! Very friendly waiters. Very good service. Have eaten here many times and have never been able to fault anything about the place at all.
Romazzino – NantwichGreat quality food. Excellent choice. Good service. Good atmosphere and surroundings. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Aroi-Thai – NantwichWe celebrated my husband's birthday with a meal at Sutton Hall and were very impressed. The setting is magnificent, the real log fire (welcome even in June!), the old beams and the quirky rooms and original furniture. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. We will certainly be returning.
Sutton Hall – Macclesfieldwe found the restaurant grubby and boring, wine was brought to our table already open. my pasta was bubbling like molten lava. the italian garlic bread was made with a FRENCH stick.
Ristorante Italia – Bebington40% off a bottle of house wine every Wednesday.
