The chicken they chose was overcooked however they were kindly offered an alternative meal that they chose to leave but were then offered a free dessert. The service was fine

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereThis was our third visit to Lewis’s and, if anything, the food was even better than we’d remembered from our previous visits (the last of which was a couple of years back). I had the fillet steak, my wife had pork belly. We also had some bread and olives to share for a starter. Can’t fault any of it; lovely food, friendly staff, excellent service and a nice atmosphere. Decent value for money too, given the quality of the food. Will definitely be back next time we stay in beautiful Grasmere.
