Traditional pub with lovely food & great service!

Amazing Sunday lunch, extremely tasty & good size portions. Staff were very friendly & attentive, great atmosphere in the pub. Highly recommended

Lovely cosy inn, with really friendly staff, and excellent food.

We would like to thank all the staff at La Mezzaluna for an excellent meal. We were on a charter train and hadn't got very long in Carlisle. We explained to the staff when we arrived. The waitress said it would take 20 mins as the chicken took that long to be cooked fresh. We enjoyed a drink and the food was served as promised and all was excellent. We were only sorry we couldn't linger. All the staff were helpful and attentive and we really enjoyed our short visit.

Lovely food and really friendly people make Mezzaluna a favourite place to eat and celebrate.

Great busy atmosphere. Lovely traditional decor. Fast service and great menu selection. We had the chicken pie and it was just the thing after a big hike.

Stayed at the Wheatsheaf for 1 night. Lovely accommodation, good food and a full breakfast. Good value for money. I would stay there again

We always head for the Badger Bar for a great meal when visiting the Lakes. Been twice this time, steak pie and Cumberland sausage are delicious.

Booked from Tripadvisor as menu looked fantastic. Even better in practice. Great choice, great food, great service and great atmosphere. Had the English wine which was excellent.

Excellent food. Lovely sea bass and monk fish meals. Scallops a little disappointing. Really good and friendly service.

Food was really nice and very reasonably priced and the young lass that served us was very nice and welcoming. Will definitely like to go back again...

Nice table, very good service, we had the vegetarian roast, which was delicious. Great to see that the same effort and care was put into our meal as the traditional Sunday roast meat. Only one dessert option, which wasn't to our choice, perhaps as well - we had eaten every morsel of our main course and were very satisfied!!!
