Visited on a busy Wednesday night but we were able to book only 2 days in advance even when town was very busy. Food was gorgeous I had baked Camembert, sea bass and sticky toffee pudding and all cooked to perfection. My husband had black pudding, chicken and cheesecake although he wanted the lamb but it had sold out by the time we were ordering. Service was excellent, food came out promptly and staff were on hand should we need anything. Would definitely recommend

We absolutely love Lewis’s. We visit it every time we are in the Lakes. It’s always great food , great service and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend everyone to visit. We especially love the chicken dish and pork belly dish. Delicious!

What a delightfully quirky gem! Fabulous afternoon tea with fizz, great staff (and Maisie the dog) So much care has gone into breathing life into this amazing venue yet it still feels so personal and friendly. Will definitely be recommending

We had a lovely meal for 4 here on the last night of our Grasmere holiday. The food was delicious and the wait staff were friendly and attentive.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Lewis's Bistro. Had the steak and smoked haddock main courses and a couple of starters and all the food was really nice. I also thought it was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our lunch visit to La Mezzaluna. Four of us chose different meals and all were exceptional. Everyone really enjoyed the food. We went for a dessert too (it would have been rude not to!) and again all fantastic. Panne Cotta Caramello is my new favourite thing! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Came in July for a meal here and loved it so much we came again when back in the area in September. Food is outstanding the staff so welcoming, friendly and attentive. Nothing too much trouble. V rarely do we want three courses but here we just can't resist. Love everything about this place. Highly recommended

Fabulous meal at Lewis's the sea bass was cooked to perfection and the vegetables which complimented the dish. The chicken with pancetta was very good and the lemon cheesecake. I had ice cream lovely choice of flavours. Wine was reasonably priced and a good selection by the glass if you didn't want a full bottle. Do book as the restaurant was full on Thursday evening. The staff are friendly and the service was quick. A very enjoyable evening with a great atmosphere
