I’ve eaten at Sage and Vine a few times but this was the first time with our son and daughter-in-law. I’d wanted them to eat here for ages and we booked this visit for my son’s birthday, so I was hoping it wouldn’t disappoint. I needn’t have worried, however. The food, the service and the atmosphere were as brilliant as ever.

Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe were a party of 16 having a pre Christmas lunch. The restaurant was accommodating in the request to where we were seated. Thank you for that. Being a large party we had pre booked our menu choices. We all opted for the Sunday lunch. Food was served promptly and piping hot. The children were served at the same time as adult starters and they all tucked in. The food was tasty and everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was extremely efficient with polite and friendly staff. Thank you to all the staff at the Queen's Head.
