I have lived in Cumbria for well over 20 years but this was my first visit. 3 of us went for a meal to celebrate my wife's birthday. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. My haddock was cooked to perfection and the other 2 meals also met with enthusiastic comments.

My husband and I visited for lunch on a rainy Monday. I'm glad I booked as it was a very busy lunch service. The server was on her own until 14:00 and she was amazing! She served all the tables, ran the bar and all with a smile! We both ordered the steak pie, mine with mash, my husband had chips. The food was delicious! Buttery shortcrust pastry with chunky, tender beef. There was a great atmosphere, everyone was relaxed, enjoying their food and a beer. If you like good, home cooked 'pub food' with great service, this is the place for you! Definitely worth a visit when in Keswick!

Love coming here, food is excellent! Have been twice on Saturday lunchtime but sadly restaurant is very cold, we were frozen no heating on?? My mum is 90 so not great for her. Staff are very friendly too

We had a lovely relaxed lunch, with tapas and cocktails. Staff were incredibly friendly and we really enjoyed ourselves. We'll be back!

Excellent service - staff are amazing, fantastic, cheerful and helpful. Food is first class and the ambience is a great balance between being able to have a private conversation and a good pub “background”.

The manager and all the staff are very professional and friendly. Great location and the menu and food are excellent. Lot’s of restaurant choice in the city but Adrianos is becoming our first choice.

Excellent visit to grants at Castlegate. We were up visiting my mum who has recently moved to the area and decided to try grants. The staff are superb, very polite and tend to your every need. The food was delicious, served hot and really quickly. We will 100% go again! Thank you to everyone we had a wonderful evening

Always great food and service. We recently visited with my two small children and all of the team made so much effort with them both. It was a lovely experience on our first family meal out since our baby arrived. The ice cream desserts were a highlight!

Staying in the area 2 nights, had a meal here each night, for 2 people. Different items chosen, so tried 4 dishes, all excellent. Staff really helpful and friendly, wish we were here longer

What can I say, it is a must to visit, we.went back twice during our stay, excellent.menu and great staff, very welcoming and dog.friendly even cooked.a.sausage for the dog, one of my.favourite restaurants in grasmere, thankyou.guys.xx

Five of us arrived to a really warm welcome and shown to our table. The menu had a great choice for each course and we managed to have a good assortment between us. The food was very good and we were served by very helpful waiters. I had one of each course and was not disappointed at all. Everyone enjoyed their meals and will definitely will return in the near future. Thank you to you all for a great meal.
