Atmosphere was good but food disappointing. Starters were nice but coq au vin was chunks of chicken on top of a sauce that was too sweet. Dessert was thrown together and not nice.

We ate here late on Sunday The staff were lovely really attentive but stayed away enough to see if you needed anything but not hung over you The food was amazing I had lamb Henry and mash and my partner had steak pie We had Thai fishcake and baked Camembert for starters We will be back if we’re in the area Thank you for getting it right!

We always try and book into the Horse and Farrier at Dacre on our frequent visits to the lakes and this time didn’t disappoint. Fantastic roasts and gorgeous venison burgers with the usual great service and a beautiful setting. See you again soon!

We dined on Saturday the 18th October and we both really had a great meal . The staff were on the ball and very pleasant to deal with it was very busy and a good atmosphere in the restaurant. I got talking to the chef at the back of the restaurant over 2 nights we were there a very nice man he gave me some good cooking tips . I told him we dined at forest side on the Friday had a great meal there but if I am honest both me and my wife like the bistro better says it all really .

Absolutely delicious roast beef, served pink which is perfect. Lovely mashed potatoes and big selection of vegetables. Portions are very generous! First time I’ve eaten here but been for drinks before in the bar. It gets very, very busy here, I can see why now I’ve eaten there - the food is wonderful. I would recommend booking as I did. The staff are great, even when run off their feet they carry on with a smile. We were in the dog area which is ‘snug’ so the poor chap next to us had my dog (a big boxer) occasionally leaning against him, when he wasn’t lay, spread over the floor - thankfully he wasn’t bothered, they had a dog with them too.

After spending a few nights at Ullswater heights we decided to try your lovely pub for Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed. All 3 of us had the roast beef dinner and it was amazing . We would definitely go back again and certainly recommend it to friends and family .

Visited the Pheasant inn for Sunday lunch and had a great meal as always. Would recommend.

Avoid avoid! Must be under new ownership. Sunday lunch was inedible. Awful service Cold restaurant Insufficient staffing This place won’t survive!

Adriano's always delivers excellent service, first class food and an upbeat atmosphere.

Booked through the website, was very impressed, confirmation came through almost straight away. Plus a reminder the day before. Booked happy hour, the place has a vibrant atmosphere. Food was excellent, had garlic bread and the olives and languini.

We had a lovely meal on Thursday evening in Adriano's . Food was beautiful well worth a visit if you are in town or visiting Carlisle. Staff were so friendlly and welcoming

Wonderful food and good service. We were overcharged on the bill but this was rectified straight away once we pointed it out. Will definitely be back.
