We went to Lewis’s twice during our 4 day visit to Grasmere and thoroughly enjoyed both nights, lovely food and great waitresses, can’t speak highly enough of the restaurant

What a fab place ! When we got seated on the table next to the log fire I knew we had picked a good one. Lovely friendly staff, warm atmosphere, great menu choices and loved the layout. Will definitely come back again when in the area.

We found this little bistro quite by chance on our visit to Grasmere, and what a find it was. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, the staff were welcoming and attentive and the whole atmosphere was pleasantly relaxing. We thought the menu may have been priced a little on the high side...until we tasted our meals! The quality of the food and the presentation was some way ahead of other establishments we had eaten at locally and was very much worth paying for, especially as my gluten free diet was so we'll catered for (save yourself for the desserts!). We thought this was a little gem of a place and if you are in the Grasmere area and enjoy genuinely good food and service, you should give it a try.

Amazing service going above and beyond to accommodate my daughter who is a fussy eater. Such a friendly bar man seeming genuinely interested in our day. And THE best Thai food ❤️

Incredible food, great atmosphere

Execellent place to eat . Plenty of choices on the menu ! Good atmosphere inside .. staff very attentive in telling you each choice … cosmina is awesome in house …great value for money .. hidden gem !!!

The pasta bolognaise was Luke warm and my partners gammon was tough. Also the bread and butter pudding wasn't hot.

Recommended to visit whilst we are on holiday, can see why, lovely feel to the place, really tasty food and friendly atmosphere. If we weren't going home soon we'd definitely revisit.

We had a superb experience at Mezzaluna, the staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy. And the food was amazing! We had three courses, drinks and coffee which came to around £75 which I thought was pretty good on price too. Definitely would go back there and would highly recommend an evening there. It was busy so booking is the way to go.
