As usual the food was excellent, and the service friendly and professional.

We were able to book a table for 10 quite easily which is not always the case with pubs these days. Staff were very friendly and food was good and value for money. I would recommend this pub.

The family has not been for a while. We felt the quality had dropped. Sauces were thin and barely had taste. Less fruit in Eton Mess than previously. Dishes were ok but lacking flavour punch. We possibly chose a time when some Dishes were nearly empty. Good to see Tepinyaki open, but choice poor. Otherwise ok. Ps: toilet doors still have locking issues on some, which was the same last summer. Not sorted!

Had Sunday lunch at East End Arms and it was delicious, the service was great and we will definitely be returning

During a great stay with local friends we went to the East End Arms twice for Sunday lunch. Small menu but it works so well. Beautifully cooked and great portions. Thank you we had a great time on both visits. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Another lovely meal at the East End Arms last Saturday. Beautiful tasty food and friendly service and very reasonable for the quality. It's our go to pub when we take friends out because we can count on it being brilliant!

We had a carvery yesterday, really enjoyed it, although my granddaughter would love to see some mashed potato available.

Waiter very attentive Food mediocre Old fashioned looked a bit tired - menu looked dated - someone said felt like eating in a nursing home . Need to update things have moved on.

My first time and I had a really nice time I took my dad here for his birthday and we all enjoyed it very much

Wonderful restaurant where we enjoyed two consecutive dinners. Food of the highest quality, service excellent, prices very fair and a nice ambience. Highly recommend, thank you.

Varieties of food, fruits and vegetables to select from which has healthy impact. Great staff and service too. Surely, my family and I will never stop visiting.

Good food

Lovely food in a relaxed atmosphere been here a few times now for a Sunday lunch and although it’s really busy the never make you feel rushed.

My husband and I had dinner on Saturday evening (28 February 2026) and booked a table for 6.30 pm. We chose to eat early as the restaurant is much quieter at that time. Our previous experience of eating later was that the restaurant was very noisy, so much so that we chose to eat in the bar area of the pub. We had an enjoyable evening in the restaurant this time. I had a delicious sweet potato risotto with baby spinach and my husband had one of the specials - beef stroganoff, which he said was excellent. We both had a selection of ice cream to finish. I had a small glass of Rose , as I was driving, and my husband had a pint of Guinness. The restaurant automatically adds a 10% service charge to your bill. Our total came to just under £60.00 which I thought was pricey for what we had. The staff were attentive, but it wasn’t service with a smile. I felt we were being judged for ordering a jug of tap water for the table and only one alcoholic drink each. Although, we weren’t even asked if we would like another drink, not even coffee. As others have said, the menu is very limited if you are a vegetarian. It may be worth phoning ahead to let them know, so that they may be able to provide some alternative options.

A wonderful meal,the steak was the best I've ever had,delightful. The staff provided a takeaway box for my daughter's leftovers.

Very good selection of different type of food. Very friendly and helpful staff. The price I think is was way too high or maybe if the drink would be included, it might be decent. Also, I paid way too much for my children 3 and 2 years old. Any child under 5 should be free. Will be nice if they would bring a glass of water to the table. I don’t think we’ll be coming back any soon.

Cannot fault the food has always been good and value for money. Seating isn’t very comfortable and should be a bit softer for comfort. Service good.
