Staff were friendly and helpful. Takes dirty plates very quickly. Food was not bad either nice and hot and fresh. Went at 5 pm on opening.

Delicious home cooked food, with a considered menu. Great atmosphere with a lovely welcome and service. Thoroughly recommend the ham, egg and chips - a simple classic made with brilliant ingredients and elevated!

All great. As a vegetarian it would have better to have had a few mains choices though.

Excellent service, not rushed but attentive. A good choice of food, especially like the Specials. Food well prepared and very generous. Overall an excellent meal. Will return.

I am no expert on Mexican food but we had a lovely lunch, food was well cooked and tasty, it was quiet being lunch time, service was quick and very friendly, would definitely go back again.

Delicious food, freshly prepared. Service was great. Lovely to be back after so many years and the standard was as good as always.

As always, the Sunday lunch was first class and we were pleased to be able to bring our family to such a pleasant venue.

Came on a Sunday to see the live music and weren't disappointed Characterful bar staff,quirky pub,food really good and a chilled atmosphere listening to the music act! Definitely coming again!

Normally excellent food and service, however on this occasion service not so good. Took 2 hours to have Sunday lunch for a table of 4 and that included chasing up our deserts. Staff friendly had 2 private parties which I would have thought had preordered. Most disappointing part for our table was no lemon meringue pie on the menu. Also due to the 2 parties very noisy.

We had a wonderful dinner on Saturday, polite and welcoming staff who gave excellent service. There were great choices on the menu and the food was superb. All washed down with a perfectly chilled bottle of bubbly. Can’t wait until next time.

Need more information online as to what to do as we had no idea. You pay before you go up for food. You pay for drinks upstairs after you are given your seat at the bar. Great service, good selection of food. Only issue was other diners letting their kids run riot causing a mess and wasting so much food. Otherwise, my family and I had a great time and will definitely come again.

Fantastic food, great staff and an excellent choice of food and drink options! Highly recommend
