The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallBeen here many times and not a bad meal. Sadly this was an exception. It was busy, the week leading to Christmas and we were told the food would be a 40 minute wait - no problem! However, we sat near the kitchen and watched as food piled up on the pass under hot lamps for more than 10 mins. And staff not batting an eye lid. We noticed one bowl of wings waiting to be sent out that we’re waiting for more than 15 mins along with several bowls of chips. When our food came we found that those wings were ours along with a bowl of fries and onion rings. All cold. When we told staff no one apologised and when the food was redone (or reheated in some cases) there was again no apology. I get it’s Christmas and busy but having worked in hospitality before there is no cost for saying sorry or checking in to see if everything is okay. I think maybe some communication between the kitchen staff needs to happen?
Wings & Beer Co – PrestonNice evening spent with my wife and myself . Lovely atmosphere and quality service and food . The staff were excellent.
Anatolia Grill – St HelensWe enjoyed an excellent 3 course Christmas meal on Thursday 22/12/22.. The food was very good and the service was excellent. It was certainly good value for money. With only 3 couples in at lunchtime there was little atmosphere. The restaurant was tastefully set out and I look forward to returning in an evening.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFantastic Christmas Meal. Plenty of food, quality produce and superb value for money.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonI've green going yo the Whitchaff for several years and it was always good. I have been very impressed with it since the recent refurbishment too. I visited with a friend a few days before Christmas and it was really good. They were busy, but the food and service were excellent - we both had the turkey dinner and it was hot, plentiful and delicious. Overall excellent all round.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAnother great lunch yesterday. Always loved the food and atmosphere here and since the refurb it’s taken things up another level. Best pub in the area for food quality and value for money.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe had a lovely late lunch here and I will definitely be returning. The food was fabulous and the service perfect. Rawtenstall has so much to offer and this was the perfect start to a great evening. I’d definitely recommend bringing friends and trying as many different plates as poss!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallLove Quattros, excellent food and always great value for money. Would highly recommend!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent service and lovely tasty food. We were waited on by Amy who was friendly and very helpful. Beautiful views. Very impressed and recommend, thank you.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeExcellent food lovely service..this is my favourite restaurant
Anatolia Grill – St HelensA delicious festive lunch was enjoyed by the family. The team and ambience are 5 star. A little parky on the first floor but other than that we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal, thank you.
Toms Table – ClitheroeThis restaurant never fails to please . We have come a number of times over the years . A lovely warm glowing fire , a friendly welcome, delicious authentic Italian pizza , excellent cocktails and they always stock Campari- a drink that every bar in Italy has . What’s not to like?
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenAnother lovely lunch , traditional modern menu with classics (cheese and onion pie) in a homely setting - lovely .
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent food good service. Done a great job in refurbishment
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely food, great cocktails and very good friendly service.
Toms Table – ClitheroeNot great. We’re seated next to a freezing cold stairwell with a cold aircon fan blowing on our table. Service not good and food overpriced and average tasting. Not worth the hype.
