Arrived for lunch to find that my online booking for 4 hadn't been transferred to the handwritten list of booked tables, but luckily there was space so it wasn't an issue. Ordered drinks but no full-sugar cola available, only diet and max, which was disappointing as I save my sugary cola treat for when I'm eating out! Restaurant was busy but not packed which created a nice atmosphere, staff were friendly and the food was delicious, although my lemon meringue pie dessert arrived covered in strawberry sauce, which I didn't ask for, and spoiled the flavour. Also no vanilla ice cream. Service was a little slow at times, but that isn't unexpected during a busy lunch service. I asked for the bill which never came. Overall, the food was great and the service was friendly but will avoid lunch times in future as - we had a better experience dining early-ish on a recent Friday evening

Had Sunday meal with family. Everything was very tasty and delicious. Service very good and great atmosphere. Couldn’t fault anything.

Had a nice meal here recently on a Saturday evening. Good quality food - quick service and pleasant staff.

We went on the 29th October when it had been made over for Halloween. The food was amazing as always, very polite attentive staff and the atmosphere is great. Would also recommend their Sunday Lunch.

Had a wonderful birthday lunch. Good was delicious (as always) and service superb. Views just incredible all year round. Can’t recommend enough ❤️

Had the lunch platter for two. Absolutely stunning food. Fantastic service and really relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Booked 3 people in for the afternoon tea at £20 pp. We received an extremely disappointing single stand to feed all 3 of us which consisted of: - 1/4 sandwich each (which was aubergine) - a shot of soup (which was nice) - a scone - a selection of cakes which i think worked out to 3 each I was disappointed with the lack of "proper" food. You normally receive a selection of sandwiches, a bit of salad or something....Not a single 1/4. Whins normally really impresses us with the food but i genuinely felt disappointed with being charged £60 for 3/4 of a sandwich and basically a tonne of cake. When I complained i was told "thats the price and thats what she charges". I dont mind the cost but the food left us wishing we hadn't bothered. 100% would not recommend.

We always have a great meal here and last night was no exception. Really good quality, tasty food. Different to other restaurants in style/menu which we like. Good, friendly service and lovely building. Good atmosphere. We will be back soon!

Lovely restaurant but unfortunately we had a table for 6 people and 2 of us waited at least 10minutes for our meal after our friends had been served. However the food was good when it arrived and we did get an apology just a pity we couldnt enjoy it all together.

What an absolutely fantastic evening! The tapas was utterly delicious. The service wonderful and the cocktails were tasty! Another fantastic time at The Pantry! Looking forward to booking again. Shame it’s only a Friday night!
