Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonTook some friends on Saturday night. Was greeted with biggest smile and welcome from the Ukrainian waitress who was a delight. James the manager also greeted us the same. Absolute fantastic food and the service was very quick indeed. Probably one of the best steaks I’ve had. It was ribeye on the bone. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you !
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFantastic place, fantastic setting, fantastic ‘simple’ vegan and Veggie food, great service….. been a few times and will be going many times more! The sharing platter on the starter menu showcases many of the great dishes….
Whins Green KitchenExcellent, great food, superb service and really nice venue. We were in a rush otherwise would have stayed longer. Will definitely be back.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterI visited last night with my three children and we had a wonderful evening. Service, atmosphere and food where all excellent and the owner made us feel very welcome. We where visiting whilst on a weekend break, would recommend and visit again
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterFirst time going really enjoyed it. Great food and drinks really good atmosphere. New favourite regular I think.
Astoria – BurnleyLovely to be back in this delightful old building, still full of atmosphere! Staff were knowledgeable and attentive. Food was well cooked and tasty; the only fault was a very small vegetable portion with the fish pie. We had a really nice evening. Will definitely be back.
Sydney’s of Lancaster – LancasterFabulous meal and have already recommended to several others. Catered for gluten free without a problem which was a pleasant change from many other restaurants where gf food is limited. The service was excellent and the food was super. We will certainly be dining there again.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeAmazing food and the staff are really lovely.
Anatolia Grill – St HelensWe had lunch here yesterday with friends from New Zealand. The food was superb - only a very limited menu but something for everyone! Our friends were very impressed and they are used to dining in top restaurants in many countries on their travels. The lunch menu was reasonable for the food quality although I don’t know the final cost as we were treated to it and there were a few bottles of wine enjoyed! My apologies to anyone who dined at the same time as one of our friends gets quite noisy!!
Toms Table – ClitheroeHad lunch with a friend. The service was excellent. Staff helpful and didn't rush you through the meal. Food was good but didn't arrive quite as expected. I ordered chicken kebab starter which I thought would have been skewered chicken pieces but it was like small rolls that were very hot and spicy. For desert I ordered ice cream that was advertised with sauce, sprinkles and marshmallows, but I had to ask for these extras. They didn't have the marshmallows which was a shame. But the restaurant is lovely and I will go again.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonThe meal was excellent really tasty and was very enjoyable .
Papa Luigis – ChorleyGreat food, friendly attentive staff lovely atmosphere.
Bread and Butter – PrestonThe place is in a great location and looks okay. The service is poor, The waiting staff spend more time talking to the chefs than attending the tables. The portion size is very small and not value for money. When I tasted the fries I noticed that the oil they were fried n was old. When we left all we could smell on our clothes was poor cooking oil. This place might be okay for some but its not for us.
Toms Table – ClitheroeThis was my first time here and I’ve already booked again. Superb flavours and lovely atmosphere. I had the mozzarella and tomato heritage salad and the flavours were exquisite and fish cakes - superb,
Toms Table – ClitheroeWe went for a meal for my Husbands Birthday. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. The pate was absolutely stunning, I haven’t tasted pate that delicious for years. We will definitely be back.
Toms Table – ClitheroeA wonderful little restaurant with fabulous decor! The food was fantastic, options are varied and the waiting staff were attentive and timely. My only criticism is the lack of vegan option suitable for a child with a dairy allergy eg, no vegan ice cream, no vegan cheese to alter main dishes such as pizza.
