The Waterwitch – LancasterTook my parents for a long overdue treat. Lovely place, relaxed atmosphere, delicious food. Will be definitely coming back :-)
Toms Table – ClitheroeExcellent evening meal at Tom's Table. Polite staff and excellent service. The only thing I would say is that for someone with a hearty appetite you may need to order some extra chips/spuds, unless you intended to have 4 courses (starter, main, dessert & cheese). Would definitely recommend and we will be back.
Toms Table – ClitheroeLovely restaurant with a nice simple menu of tasty dishes that work well together.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenFabulous food, great service and atmosphere
Quattro’s – OrmskirkHad a fabulous evening , the food was delicious. Great value for money and cooked with love and flair. The bar staff were wonderful and really attentive and had a great sense of humour Will definitely be back !
The Dog Inn – BlackburnHad the early bird dinner last night and as ever was very impressed with the service, food and ambience of this restaurant.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyOur first time here and it did not disappoint. Service, atmosphere, quality of food and value for money all in one. I will definitely be returning.
Anatolia Grill – St HelensDined at Papa Luigis in Euxton on a Wednesday evening. My friend and I both dined from the Early Evening Menu and all the food was delicious. A lively atmosphere due to several birthday parties but good service and a lovely meal which was also very good value.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyEverything you should expect from a restaurant. Great customer service, welcoming, attentive and most of all the best Italian food I’ve eaten in such a long time. Our food was cooked to perfection. Simply delicious. Thank you for making our evening a special one.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkAmazing food, great friendly service. Will definitely be returning.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterThis was our first time at The Lodge and assuming all goes well in the future, it won’t be our last. There are still a number of procedures in place for Covid and that helped with our experience. We learned after our meal that all the staff with the exception of the manager were new within the last month, which was a surprise as you really couldn’t tell, the service, attention to you and to detail, friendliness and professionalism was excellent. After a long days walking we opted for the Black Pudding Bon Bon’s and Arancini light bites as starters followed by Rib eye steak for our mains. Having been to the home of Arancini I’ve yet to find a place who can match the taste and texture, but these were very good, however they were eclipsed by the Bon Bon’s if these hadn’t have been the last I’d have simply cancelled the steak and filled up with these, they were amazing. The steaks arrived and as with the starter it was well cooked (to our order) and well presented, whether it was because we were hungry, or because the food and service was excellent the whole experience was flawless, I think it was the latter. All the staff worked hard, we’re polite and attentive offering a level of service others could learn from. It would be difficult to pick anyone out as offering a stand out service as they were all good. Would we go back, of course.
The Lodge – LancasterWe had a lovely meal for my birthday. There were seven of us, we chose from the more limited Sunday menu. The starters were interesting, really tasty and the mains were fab. Everyone really enjoyed the food. The service was great, the place was looking great and the atmosphere was lovely.
The Lodge – LancasterHelpful, accommodating staff. Enjoyed the ability to tailor the afternoon tea. Lovely, comforting setting and feel. Can imagine this is just as nice in the evening. Will look forward to returning.
Toms Table – ClitheroeOutstanding in all aspects the place just gets better.
Astoria – BurnleyIt was a triple birthday celebration and, from the moments arrived to the second we left, it could not have been better. Perfect food, perfect atmosphere and perfect service! We will be visiting again soon! Thank you for a special day!
The Waterwitch – LancasterThe restaurant has a very good ambience. The menu is very extensive and not just Italian as we had expected. Food quantities were huge both for starters and for mains. So having selected both we found it was too much to eat. The food quality was also good. I ordered the T-bone steak with peppercorn sauce - excellent. We will definitely come again.
