Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. The best roast dinner.

What a truly lovely place to eat. We travelled up from Hampshire for the weekend and Verdes was recommended to us. The food was delicious, hot and served quickly once ordered. The staff were very welcoming and really looked after us. It was lovely to meet who we think was the owner. Overall what a lovely restaurant, would highly recommend. Helen

We went the week before sat down and the girl asked if we had booked so we left and booked for the Sunday the 28th when we got there the staff were so nice we had a breakfast and it was excellent well worth the week wait great food great service and a great pot of tea we will definitely be back. Had a meal for 2 sunday lunchtime. My hubby was 60 so celebrating. Service perfect. Very friendly. Beautiful decor and nice atmosphere. Hubby had chicken livers to start which he raved about and a delicious pizza. We shared a delicious garlic bread. I ate off the sunday lunch menu. Garlic mushrooms were amazing. A little disappointed with pollo alla crema main course, the roast potatoes werent crispy, seemed reheated and had no flavour. The chicken and sauce a little bland. Veg was lovely. Tiramisu for dessert lacked any flavour at all. The food which was Italian was amazing and we will stick to Italian Fayre next time as Papas excels at pizza and pasta dishes. We had brunch on Sunday at Maxys. Food was its usual high standard. I had the tuna jacket potato which was huge and my husband had the pantry breakfast. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were very impressed and going back again this week. Welcome back Maxys, you’ve been missed!

Fantastic food, great service- never disappointed when we visit.

Once again the food was lovely and the service excellent. The mussel starter really is exceptional. It won't be long before we are back again.

Our visit was cut short as one of our party was feeling unwell, we asked for a quite corner which was just perfect, food was brill, lovely place, nice atmosphere, we will return.

Absolutely amazing place to eat. The food is to die for and the staff are amazing and very helpful. My 2 year old has autism and had a meltdown and started throwing his food around and the staff was so understanding and helpful , especially Sofia who my little boy to a shine to and instantly calmed down. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

Fantastic! We headed to Verdes for a birthday celebration with my partners and turned it into a bit of a date night. The food was fresh and delicious, and the table service was top-notch throughout.

Nice concept,goed food and friendly staff. Weelchair friendly. We had a nice evening.

Decided last minute to bob down to the Traders, so glad we did. Excellent food and service. Very friendly atmosphere and extremely good value for money.
