Situated in the lovely countryside nr Lancaster is this very pleasant tearoom. I stopped off for a very nice lunch. It has a friendly host and a garden shop in the same complex. My superior sarnie came with a very nice salad. One of the better cafes in Lancashire

Had a lovely time at Tino's a few weeks ago. The food and whole experience is always very good but the last time we went the service was especially wonderful. The waiters were professional but relaxed and made us feel very welcome in the restaurant! The house white wine was also gorgeous.....please don't change! Well done Tino's and hope to be back soon!

This village pub is excellent, so welcoming and the food and service is very good and great value. We usually go on the steak and wine nights were 2 people can eat for 13pound! The food is wonderful and staff really know what customer service is... Highly recommended for nice drink or fantastic homely meal and surroundings.

I meant to leave this review after I first visited earlier this year with my partner, June-ish. It's been a long time since I have been so impressed with a restaurant. I could not fault it in any way at all - the decor was of good quality, service was prompt and efficient without brusqueness, food was heavenly, good portions and I got a rose at the end - nice touch. Our bill was ever so slightly pricey, but it was well worth it. We're visiting again tonight, this time with children. This place is definitely my favourite restaurant in Preston so far.

Sunday 11th September 2011 was our second cruise and dine on the restaurant boat and will definitely not be our last. We treated my husband's parents to celebrate their retirement. It's just absolutely lovely. Sunday lunch with a difference. The food and service is absolutely fabulous. We would highly recommend.

Me and my partner stayed her for 1 night and had a lovely time. Due to checking in later than expected we were worried we wouldn't be able to have a meal in the restaurant. However, they still made sure we got our meal with exactly what we wanted. The staff our welcoming, polite and very helpful. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and came with free crisps and biscuits. The bathroom was also very modern. I would recommend anyone to stay here I will definitely come back.

Went to the queen Vic for a meal, the food was appalling, the older lady behind the bar was extremely rude. Last time I visited the pub many years ago the food was exceptional and the staff were very helpful. Obviously my wife and I will not be visiting this establishment again.

I have been several times now to Dante's and would definitely recommend it to individual diners as well as parties every time I go the food and service are excellent. Recently went to a christening party and it was most excellent, well done

What a fantastic place - it 's got everything. excellent food, superb hosts and great atmosphere . A great party venue.

We visited in January for a birthday meal, and the food was delicious! The chef cooked everything to perfection, with any requests catered for (my wife can be very particular!) The staff were very friendly, which created a very pleasant atmosphere. Each month they hold a themed food night; we attended the Mexican evening - the cocktails were simply fabulous! The girls behind the bar were great fun, which gave the restaurant a great vibe later on in the evening. It was refreshing to have the excellent food combined with the great drinking atmosphere! We will definitely be visiting again!

First visit for quite a while and happy to say I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I’m a big fan of venues that support local suppliers and it’s probably fair to say that this place -- and its sister venues, which include Northcote Manor – set the standard to which others aspire. Still seems to be as popular as ever and my only criticism would be that in peak times the staff seem to get stretched to the limit

Read other reviews and can't understand anything negative about this superb little restaurant,food ,prices and staff absolutely spot on, best night for us in a long long time,will visit again soon if only for the banter with Michelle. Would recommend to all to sample for themselves

Very disappointed. Went for a meal - just under £20 for a mixed grill which when it arrived was very insubstantial, greasy and over cooked. Staff were unfriendly and the place looked and smelt unclean. Went across the village to compare menus and prices and it looks very likely that we will be visiting the Victoria Hotel who's mixed grill appears on the menu "to do what it says!"

As vegetarians, we sometimes struggle to find something different on the menu. At Truffles the vegetarian dishes are original and delicious - we have never been disappointed. Lovely atmosphere too..

The service was good, but the food was disappointing. With access to such great Lancashire meat, dairy and vegetable produce on their doorstep, it is a shame that there wasn't much evidence of it on their menu.

i was really disappointed with my meal at le vespa i had the seafood spaghetti i asked what was in it before i ordered it i was told white fish salmon prawns and mussels in a creamy wine and tomato sauce when it came there was no sauce and it only had very small prawns and mussels which was disappointing. no one came and asked how our meal was and when we asked for the bill we paid and left it was as if the staff weren't interested in our custom.

everytime i visit The Tapas Bar, it is a pleasure! The people are always warm and welcoming and The tapas is the best I've ever had!! The lamb in Rioja main course is a must have!!!

Just been with my Wife and daughter to San Marcos. The restaurant excelled it self. A lovely pleasant atmosphere really good service. With top notch Italian food the way it should be cooked . I visit loads of Italian Restaurants and this is far far the best. 10/10
