4 of us had a meal on the 23/july 2011, and found it excellent and very good value. Service was ever so friendly. Would recommend and always return.

O’Marley – BlackburnMy family and I have been a customer of Sagar for years and would not go anywhere else! It is a fantastic place, with a friendly environment and fantastic staff and food! Highly recommended!
Sagar Premier – PrestonVisited this pub for a food last night. The pub is charming and very clean despite all the knick knacks. The food is very good, well cooked, well presented and tasty. However, the portion of chips for two was what I would call a decent portion for one! Also had a dessert which was also nice but not sure it was worth the £3.95 they charged for it. My one major complaint is that the landlady is a bit of a jeckyll & hyde character. Very pleasant and chatty until we asked where our dessert was after 35 minutes of patiently waiting (only waited 15 mins for main course). Got our heads bitten off for our trouble with the landlady complaining that they were dealing with starters and mains and there are only 3 of us. Think the problem was that there was a bit of a surge in customers but still no excuse for rudeness! Would I go again? Yes for the food if the service was less changeable - don't think I will be in a rush to go back any time soon.
Green Man – PrestonI've been to Camerons a couple of times recently for lunch and I've been impressed on both visits. The food is tasty, the service is friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is serene, and the restaurant looks clean and fresh.
Camerons Restaurant – ChorleyWe visit Anaz every Saturday night Mr Ali and all his staff are fantastic I have the same every wk chicken chat to start and lamb curry and it is perfect every time a visit is a must
Anaz Indian Restaurant – Darwenvery expensive service ok i suppose ive seen better
Trattoria San Marco – PrestonMy wife & I stayed here on 4 & 5/07/2011. The Taster Menu was sampled on the first evening & we could only manage 7 of the 8 courses. We opted out of the Sticky Toffee pudding as we had no room for it! All courses were of a very high standard & the staff were friendly but not familiar. The breakfasts were most enjoyable and the evening meal on the 2nd night was also delicious. We stayed in the four poster bedroom and spent a most comfortable time. Living in Central Scotland will not prevent us returning once I've managed to shed some weight. A lovely experience.
Barbon Inn and Restaurant – Kirkby LonsdaleVisited Pond on Monday 11 July for a graduation celebration meal having read all the good reviews. How disappointing it turned out to be Peruvian stew with chicken still looking for chicken !! had to ask for bread that is supposed to come with stew see previous comments by others along same line .Gambas pil pil nice but very few prawns bit of a let down really but they did reduce bill upon request wont hurry back
Duk-Pond – PrestonStayed here again on Sunday for the gourmet night. Amazing Food, Amazing Service, Amazing Place. Nigel & Craig have this place spot on.
Northcote – BlackburnAs a regular at the fat olive I am never disappointed in the food or the service. The regular offers are incredibly good value and tempt me in frequently. All the staff are efficient and friendly and know their menu, requests for alternative combinations greeted with a no problem approach. my future custom is guaranteed!
Fat Olive – OrmskirkWe have just had an evening at La Rocca in Chorley. As a party of 10 and a toddler. We had booked for an eighteenth birthday celebration. At 7:30 prompt we were seated and our drinks order taken. We were very happy with the service and with the exceptional food. I had the FEGATINI ALLA BOSCAIOLA,(omnomnom) followed by a risotto not shown on the menu (Yumnomnom)Spicy sausage, tomato & Salami. You get a healthy portion of everything, , so don't let the price list put you off .It looks pricey..but its not. The quality is ^up^ there, plus its friendly & Good portions. Well done La Rocca , we will definitely be returning and recommend this establishment to all our associates."
La Rocca – ChorleyWhat fantastic food and even better service. A hidden gem.
Thai Orchid The – PrestonOn the 8th July 2011 myself and 3 other adults and two children went to the Sparth Manor - The building itself is lovely, and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and has kept many of its original features. The hosts where very friendly and helpful. - Great evening. Great food, Great Hospitality. A hidden gem - worth a visit
Sparth Manor – AccringtonJust want to say that I went to this restaurant last Friday with my husband and father. Both husband and father love Indian food, whereas it doesn't normally appeal to me. We arrived and were seated immediately - though the waiter forgot our menus initially. The food was excellent, and this restaurant could convert me into loving Indian food. It was all fresh, tasty and enjoyable. Good size portions and some different choices for food. I took part of my meal home with me for the following day the portion sizes and food quality was that good. Also was impressed that it had a good selection of wine, which normally doesn't happen at Indian restaurants. I think our only criticism would be that there was no time between courses, and we were still munching on poppadoms when our starters came out - we had arrived, ordered wine and food, eaten, paid and in a taxi and home within two hours. Our party all enjoy spending longer over meals and time talking between courses rather than course arriving as soon as the previous one was finished. Some of the staff were also a bit slapdash - our thoughts were that they were more used to working in a take away rather than a restaurant. Overall I would certainly recommend this restaurant to others, but would also advise the staff to take a bit more care over their service and not to rush diners as much.
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonExcellent night with friends, friendly and accommodating staff, excellent food at a reasonable price. This was our first visit and definitely won't be the last.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkPerfect. The food is delicious, beautifully cooked, perfect portion sizes, lovingly presented. The menu is great, with the usual Italian favourites but also some innovative twists and new ideas - the pork belly starter - yum. The service is faultless, if you are lucky enough to get the Italian waiter (I think his name is Mario) you are in for quite a night, amusing, attentive (without being annoying) and ready to make suggestions if you ask. The other waiting staff are great too, no surly 17 year olds with a bad attitude just great people who obviously enjoy their work. The atmosphere is brilliant, we've been midweek and at the weekend and the atmosphere is always great. There is a fun happy air about the place but not so loud so you can't hear yourself - perfect. Even though it isn't huge the tables aren't crammed together so if you can talk privately to your dinnerdate. The prices are great - they do midweek offers but even paying full price at the weekend is no problem, they are reasonable and the quality is so good. Well worth it. The only problem is that getting a table on a Saturday night isn't the easiest because they are so booked up!!!
Italian Cottage – ChorleyWe had our first take out from the Double Tree last night and well what can I say ...... AMAZING!! Some of the best Indian food I have tasted in years and we will be visiting there VERY soon for a meal. Love the way they have things like venison etc on the menu. WE had stopped having Indian takeouts due to the horrible stodgy feeling you normally get after but our meal last night was so light and you could just tell that all the ingredients etc were fresh, wonderful!
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonFood was excellent. We were very impressed with the portion size and taste of all meals. Good choice of dishes. Will definitely return!
