Romanos – PrestonSimply gorgeous soup with warm cheese and bacon rolls. What a beautiful day looking out over the countryside from my table!
Greendale View Kitchen and B&B – ClitheroeAfter a lovely walk around Longridge fell and forest we had a great Sunday meal. Also been here for a big party which was very well catered for. Great spot and very good beer.
Newdrop Inn – LongridgeSuperb lunch time meal today . Both myself and guest had home made pie chips and veg with real ale . First class host as barman . Pie was freshly made and was gorgeous . Pity it was so quiet .
Green Man – PrestonLovely traditional eatery with old school service and meals.
Copper Kettle – Kirkby LonsdaleGorgeous restaurant with amazing food!
Trattoria San Marco – PrestonExcellent meal all round at Bistrot Pierre Preston. The place looks fab in an old church! vaulted ceilings and plenty of space. A contemporary feel with a big bar in the middle. Booked through Sugarvine and the reply was prompt. The waiter guessed by our faces we wanted a different table and without asking moved us to a better booth seat and he continued to be very attentive and efficient throughout the meal. Think he was called Paul. we both opted for deep fried brie which spot on and both mains were just right. Wine was very pleasant. All in all and great addition to Preston!
Bistrot Pierre – PrestonRecently re-opened under new management. New toilets, new paint job and new menu. Service was incredible, staff very friendly, and the food delicious....The new owners have big plans for this little jem...Fingers crossed for them. On first impressions i really think it work out for them and the village of Longton. Good luck, see you again very soon
Romanos – PrestonAverage but a good evening!
Theatre Street Bar and Grill – PrestonI booked at short notice for a late lunch on Friday 7th December. My friend and I were really pleased at how the restaurant looked as we had not been before. The service was exceptional as was the food and at such a reasonable price will definitely be going again and will recommend to all our friends.
The Cork – OrmskirkA truly iconic property, stunning art deco building and now a great hotel too. Awesome views over Morecambe Bay. loved the bar and the restaurant. regular attender of their many events
Midland Hotel – MorecambeFavourite Indian restaurant in the Preston area. Been around for years serving consistent quality. The place has a touch of glamour too. Nice guys who own it.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonWhat a find. I’m a fairly regular visitor to Whalley but had somehow missed this great restaurant on Station Road. A nice atmosphere and beautiful food when we visited on a Friday night – the vodka and dill-cured salmon was a delight and I’ve never had such tender pork. Well worth seeking out if you’ve not visited before and open during the day too.
Breda Murphy Restaurant – ClitheroeYou may need to go up hill and down dale to find this remote pub but believe me it’s well worth the effort. Beautifully appointed in what you might call ‘country contemporary’ style with rooms for an overnight stay too. Popular with walkers and cyclists getting to grips with nearby Pendle Hill.
Barley Mow – BurnleyExcellent sunday lunch yesterday! The beef was just right.
Plungington Hotel – PrestonFirst time at East z East following a suggestion from friends. We were not disappointed and enjoyed a cuisine very different to what's on offer at the usual Indian haunts. This offered a refreshing change, however if you want a typical English curry they do that too - and very well. Personally for me though it's all about the meats here - we had the mixed grill accompanied by the most tasteful selection of fresh dips which were a restaurant speciality. So good - try the hot mint yoghurt or the plum chutney ! Naan breads the size of tables and melt in the mouth paratha all cooked to perfection. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff rounded off a perfect evening nicely. What more do you want ? Give it a try. Warmly recommended...
East Z East – PrestonWe visited today with a client and the food from the set menu was amazing. The chicken wings was to die for and the spicy shredded chicken reminded me of authentic Chinese restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Five star service all round from start to finish. Will definitely be re visiting in my free time. Thank you for an excellent experience.
Azuma – PrestonWell done to the canal Turn team, what a difference the outside beer garden makes, looks great day or night the tree lighting is fab,
