great atmosphere in this small restaurant. steak was great. bread was a bit soggy, but overall very nice.

If you go late on as it's in the heart of preston it is extremely busy, great indian cuisine very friendly staff.

food was o.k but the portions were a bit pathetic, for what you pay and I went late about 12.30 at night and there was a lot of drunken clubbers in!!

Browns is situated in preston town centre and is a popular venue for soul, r'n'b, hip hop and ragga music. The over 25's club that has recently opened above is great if you want to go some where thats not full of kids. Personally I prefer sunday nights as they have a great band and guest singers every week. Doorman and bar staff are friendly and do there job, there's very little trouble, a must if visiting preston.

An excellent restaurant. Staff extremely friendly. Once you have visited this restaurant you WILL return again. The personal touch is beyond expectation. Julia, never forgets a face and you will always be made welcome!

The food and service were pretty good. Very relaxing place to eat. Thinking of going again on Xmas Eve for a bite to eat. Will have to get a Xmas Menu from you.

Went first in Sep 2003. Returned with friends in Oct 2003. Menu had good selection, better than most. All cooked and presented to perfection.

A fantastic atomosphere, great food and something out of the ordinary for Lancaster and the surrounding area. Go for the Teppanyaki and try the miyabi deluxe for some tasty yet somewhat lively lobster, If you fancy something a little less expensive they have a wide selection of set banquets for you to choose from. What ever you choose the chefs will show off their culianry acrobatic skills for you!Swill it all down with some Ashai beer and to finish a little warmed sake goes down a treat.

I have eaten here many times, good imaginative home made food, both fry-ups and healthier options. The Whale Tail salad bowl is particularly good. A pity it's not open in the evenings.

I regularly dine here both for special occassions and also as a mid week treat. The food is excellent and very inexpensive, the staff are great, and the wine is good. I have dined at many other Italians and this one beats the lot.

We had a lovely meal here recently, delicious food with imaginative vegetarian options. Stylish decor and a very pleasant ambience, we'll definitely go back soon.

Very comfortable. Excellent food and service. Set in la quiet village in ovely countryside. Large dining area, but check that they don`t have a function on before you turn up!

the food was really, really good but the service was abit slow. its very posh and even the toilets have see-thru sinks 2 make it look good.
