Royalty Phoenix – Accringtonthis has to be the BEST chinese restaurant in the northwest.cannot fault anythging about this place from the welcome to the leaving nothing is too much trouble for the staff who ensure everything is done to make your dining experience the best it can be.
The Great Season Chinese Restaurant – PrestonSuperb modern British cuisine with a Northern twist. Excellent wine list but the mark-ups put too many bottles firmly in the realm of the expense account holder.
Northcote – BlackburnThis is the best indian food we have had, with a huge selection on the menu. You can get a frequent visitor VIP card and save on weekday meals. We practically lived here while we installed our kitchen! The waiters and Owner/Manager; Harun; are extremely friendly and efficient. You can eat here very reasonably, or splash out and have a feast. Highly recommended.
Balti Stan – AccringtonThe Longlands is much more than simply a country venue, I was pleasantly surprised to discover on a recent visit that it caters for a vast range of clientelle with varying tastes, there is something to suit all and served at a particular high quality. Well done.
Longlands Hotel and Restaurant – CarnforthThis is the best indian restaurant ever, we live in Hull but every time we return to lancashire this is one of our stops excellent
Agra Indian Restaurant – BurnleyWhenever I visit this restaurant I am always surprised when I find it is often quiet. I suspect that on the whole this is because of it's location or the fact that it has not yet been 'discovered'.
Sun Dragon – RawtenstallWorth every penny
Great Land Cantonese Restaurant – ClitheroeWE MAKE A POINT OF VISITING THIS RESTAURANT OFTEN. THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING,AND THE STAFF ALWAYS MAKE YOU WELCOME.
Beijing Restaurant – BurnleyA Fantastic curry restaurant. I've been to lots and this is my favourite. I'm lucky enough to live not too far away and so get to visit often. I travel extensively through work and often go for curries in different locations in the UK. I still haven't found a better curry house than this. If you go (and you like garlic) try the Chicken Tikka Rashun. Wash it down with a cobra or order a bottle of the excellent rioja.
Balti Stan – AccringtonIntimate atmosphere for a 'pub' but menu much more varied than your average local, and of a much higher quality. Menu changes frequently and is extensive, from pub fare to more exotic variations. Always busy. One of my personal favourites.
The Malthouse Farm – Chorleygood food 'had to wait a while but worth the wait.
Jade Palace – BarnoldswickWe have never had a bad meal here, go every couple of months always in a group. The staff are friendly and look after you well, and the price is great for the service and food. Will be back next month.
Mitali Tandoori – AccringtonA good easy atmosphere. Makes you feel welcome. Good bog standard italian food, a great place to eat.
Marcos – LancasterAfter eating at the Snooty Fox Tavern, we decided to try their sister restaurant, the Stork. We were delighted with the food and service. Everything was cooked to order and the flavours were fabulous. Again we stayed the night as they have accommodation. Another great night out !!
The Stork Inn – LancasterWe eat out regularly and we found the Snooty Fox Tavern to be one of the best places we have ever eaten. We found out that they have an award winning chef ( and it shows ). The menus were excellent and the staff were lovely. We decided to stay over as well as they have accommodation. A great night out.
Snooty Fox – Kirkby LonsdaleGt ambience----lovely friendly service,& nice location. A Very good venue for fish addicts----if you dont like fish, choice is a little restricted. Not cheap, however good value.A definite recommendation.
Quite Simply French – LancasterHaving just re-visited The Naaz, we are having to eat humble pie. Since our last visit things have changed! This was always a reliable watering hole serving good food, but had lacked the sparkle of other up market curry establishments. It has now come of age, with new decour, bar area and by the time they`ve finished..posh Loos. The food remains excellent, nicely served and tasty as always. But with a new look and new menu things are really on the up. It is nice to see that even well established Restaurants can re-invent themselves occasionally and emerge even better than before.
