Excellent food in the evening - special deal early in the week on pizza and pasta. Later in the week two main courses and a bottle of complimentary wine, you can also take your own wine. Food delicious, ambience outstanding, wine excellent what m ore can you say???

La veranda is a special place. Excellent food and friendly service. We needed a truly Italian restaurant around here!!! The steaks and the ribs are fantastic. We will go again!!

Lovely atmosphere and great service. The food is superb, too. Endless coffee refills if you go for coffees.

Very nice bar for a lunch or evening meal. Menu selection very stylish. Even better value if you have a privilege card, 2-4-1 on mail meals. Cards are available for £3 making it worth while even if you don? go regularly. Waitress service by very friendly and helpful staff.

The Balti house is brilliant!!!! Anyone who has not tried it should do. Everyone is very friendly; I know this because I know all of them. Harry is the best, he is so funny and he knows how to satisfy the customers. Hussain the owner is very nice too. Ary is funny he makes the customers laugh. The food is delicious. You should try the Chicken Chat it is beautiful. The speed that they do it in is also very fast. You would not be in there 5 min and you would have your food. I recommend everyone to try it you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful meal, an excellent night out for my friend? birthday. Definitely a place l will be visiting again.

Browns is a great place to go if you want to relax and enjoy a meal during the day, but in the evening it is simply the only place to go to enjoy great music in a trouble free environment, I highly recommend a visit.

Superbly prepared and presented, tender fresh meat and no-frills side dishes, everything a good English restaurant should be. Interesting environment, slap bang in the middle of a working farm, everything about Hunters, from place settings to menu, reflects the very obvious love and devotion to good food of it's personable chef Mark Pennington. A relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable evening in an unpretentious and down to earth atmosphere.

Highly recommended---delicious food presented beautifully and with love and care and pride. Friendly atmosphere and good music in the background adds to the general ambience. Interesting understated subtle decor. Original wooden flooring, tasteful furniture, silverware and dinner service. Smoke-free atmosphere. Romantic setting for a special occasion in the evening.

I was invited to the launch of Huntleys At Night and travelled from Yorkshire to attend. The menu made it difficult for me to choose--the 5 people in our party all had something different--every meal was at the standard I have come to expect from Mark Pennington. I am returning soon with friends to sample the new menu--spoilt for choice!

I have tried many restaurants around the country and would like to think I know a good curry!! Sukhis rates very highly 5* for food service and friendliness, we were served personally by Sukhi k himself, we were also invited to have a drink after the meal with Sukhi and his son who works behind the bar and takes orders. I visited Sukhis on a Wednesday night with my wife 6 yr old son and 2 1/2 yr old daughter, we all had curry?, I had the special mix jalfrezi, wife had chick tikka massala and son had Korai all very nice will definitely eat there again

Tantalising food, great to hear the kitchen at work! Young South African waiter a great asset! very fine wine. Nigel most certainly deserved the lifetime achievement award. congrats!!!!!!!!

I spent Mothers Day at this restaurant, usually when you go out on mothers day it is a very rushed poor quality affair not so with this restaurant!. I had the best Mothers Day ever in this restaurant. Service was Fabulous, not hurried at all, food was superb, the Prawns in Filo with Alioli was divine as was the calamari my children chose. I had Gnocchi for main which was to die for! My children chose filleto de Bianco, which was the tenderest steak imaginable. Desserts were all home made and wine list was very reasonable. Will be returning soon!

BRILLIANT!

I have visited here twice now, in November and more recently in February and the food was excellent and French inspired. The service was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. I went with my husband and at 32 we were the youngest in there by a long way. This may be because it is a long way out on a winters evening or that there is a very delicious and reasonably priced set menu, as well as an a la carte. I can't speak for the wine as I was driving, the only downside. But my husband described his rioja as 'superb'. Apparently it is in a really lovely stetting but as both times we have arrived after dark, so we will have to go again, as the nights draw out.

These guys are very polite and kind when you?e there or on the phone and their prices are unbeatable. Also there food is unbeatable and this place is a absolute must you should go inside and check the restaurant out, the place is beautiful. They have meals for families which I took yesterday it was unbelievable the first time I tried a southern fried chicken meal that was at a inexpensive price and the chicken was so delicious I ordered another meal today all the family ate it and they all enjoyed the meal. KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent food, excellent Chef, John is a great host as well, we so enjoyed our holiday in the Lakes and we will be back.
