SHOCKING !!! 1st time eating here and quite possibly the last,oredered from the buffet menu,actually started off ok 1st round came out reasonable prompt and was real nice quality food unfortunately that's where the good news ends ordered 2nd round after waiting over an hour (and many questions as to wher it was)for some of it to arrive at the table (not all that was order) was extremely fed up with the wait so ate the part of the order that came (still no sign of the rest of the order)paid and left still hungry, annoyed and disappointed to say the least

Great to see this pub reopening ! A lovely place to have lunch either inside or out. Great service and food!

Fantastic meal and perfect service, I had the seabass which was amazing the flavours were divine, my partner had the fish and chips and only the standard size which was massive i think you would have Jaws on your plate if you went for the large one. Perfect evening from start to finish. We choose to eat in the bar as we love the ambience in there.

Visited Lookout on the Pier on Saturday and had an amazing time, as always. For once I steered away from the chowder and opted for the crab salad with extra prawns….fabulous ☺️ It was also Armed Forces day in Scarborough so we were able to watch the planes flying over the harbour. The doors were open onto the balcony & we had a great view & a lovely breeze. First class food & service, we’ll be back soon.

We had two meals in Little Sicily (prebooked) on Sunday evening. I had chicken, chorizo and mushroom tagliatelle and my husband had cannelloni both meals were delicious, well cooked and filling. The staff were lovely and attentive.

Although it was very hot when asked to move indoors everyone was very helpful. My drink that was ordered came wrong and waited a long time for replacement. We sat for a length of time waiting to go to carvery after me asking 2 times then when my parents queued they were asked for tokens which had not been given so had to ge a manager to issue these. Not knowing the process of how it all worked were were given tokens but after queuing again realised we had medium plates and not given a choice food was good. Sorry to give negative feed back but we were celebrating my parents 77 birthdays

Lovely roast dinner and excellent service

Nice ambiance and good staff. Food was average. Too much oil on the risotto and no veg or salad options. Bread was very crusty and crunchy, personally I prefer soft fresh bread. Very heavy cream sauce with the plaice

A table booking for two was made well in advance online so we could avoid any disappointment of the restaurant being fully booked when we visited Scarborough for a long weekend. Having visited this beautiful fish restaurant previously for afternoon lunch we were not disappointed with our first visit to sample a delicious breakfast. The beautiful view overlooking the fishing harbour adds more quality to this gem of a restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Beautiful food served promptly and well presented. Congratulations to all the staff from front of house and kitchen please keep up the great work.We highly recommended this fish restaurant which is a gem of Scarborough.

Lovely meal, nice staff and atmosphere. Nduja Ravioli with a butternut squash cream was great, the kick was spot on.

Hi went to the copper cow for Sunday lunch with my wife and had a really enjoyable meal It was one of the best that we have had in quite a while would highly recommend

We go to Sambucu quite regularly & have never been disappointed. Plenty of choice on the menu, the food is lovely & always well presented , very friendly staff , it’s good value & excellent service.

Atmospheric old inn with modern facilities. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Food for two adults and a seven-year-old was tasty, well-prepared and well-presented. Highly recommend.
