Lovely meal, pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. The only downside was the proximity of our table to the coffee machine which was very noisy and made it difficult to hold a conversation.

Meal for 4 on Saturday night. Atmosphere was good. Mix up with the starters but the owner came to apologise personally and put things right at their expense. Food was excellent as always . We will be back soon. Made mistake on previous review for service and could not correct hence 2nd review again . Service was excellent

Our hour was very relaxing and we left feeling calmer and uplifted to be amongst such friendly staff and cats. Staff explained the cats likes and dislikes to us and tips on how to play with them. The coffee and cake was delicious. My husband said the carrot cake was the best he has had. A magical experience, a real getaway from our cares and stresses.

Food was proper tasty. We had the veggie tacos and smashed potatoes on the side, so good! Great value for money. Place has a lovely and warm feeling and the staff were class. I'll be back

Friendly, efficient service. Great Yorkshire pudding, although not enough sausages. Beef & Ale pie filling was excellent and the best chips we’ve had in a long time. Great location in Knaresborough overlooking the river. Great value for money. Would recommend a meal here.

The food was delicious. The service was good and the staff were lovely. We loved the style of the restaurant. Hope to revisit some time.

Lovely sharing platter for two good value for money and cauliflower cheese was amazing

Came for my 60th birthday party of 18 Food was delicious but a few things didn’t quite go to plan. Our tables weren’t ready when we arrived, felt quite crammed would have liked to decorate wasn’t possible . We pre-ordered food but the main courses came out without the accompanying food. Ie fish and chips came then bread and butter followed 5-10 mins later. 2 people ordered steak but had to wait 5-10 mins for chips. Would recommend and come back but not with a big group as felt not enough staff on.

First time at Tocketts Mill for Sunday carvery. Seated quickly and drinks ordered. Food was lovely, the meat was perfect and generous portions too. Lovely surroundings and staff were very helpful and pleasant. Dessert was also lovely. We will most definitely be back.

The food is always delicious, and the portion sizes are just right. There’s a great variety of meal choices and a well-curated drinks menu to match. I especially love the homemade ice cream — it’s a real treat every time! Looking forward to next time

Great place and great food, will definitely be back

A wonderful small restaurant, excellent fish and seafood. We both had garlic lobster - locally sourced and totally delicious! The chowder is the signature dish, we've had that many times, always enjoyed it.
