Came for lunch with friends. The food was lovely. However the service was very disappointing. We were given menus to choose our desserts and then had to ask a member of the bar staff for someone to take our order, having waited at least half an hour. It was busy and there were not enough staff working.

We went for the sharing platter this time, with a couple of extras; always, always go for the cauliflower cheese - it's on the next level. I also took a side of the parsnips which were good, but I prefer mine with a crunch. The beef was succulent, so well cooked, you could chew it with your tongue it was that tender. I have been going to the Copper Cow for a couple of years now and never have I been disappointed. Always, full on flavours and excellent quality. As it was a Sunday, the Big Fella was not around, shame, he's a top host with a passion for what he does. I could say more, but I am starting to feel peckish and another visit is due. Absolutely, the Copper Cow is the best in show.

We were all very impressed with the setting service and meals. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection and reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back soon.

Denmans Restaurant – HalifaxWe have eaten in the new venue a few times now and on each occasion the atmosphere was a bit dead, especially last Friday night. The menu hasn't changed for quite a while now so it's all getting a bit tired. If you have not been before, you will love it but if you have visited more than a couple of times, it becomes a bit stale. Staff are really helpful and friendly.ì
