Fantastic village pub with a fantastic ambience with plenty of original character features. We booked the day before and luckily managed to get a table. Sea food cocktail and creamy garlic mushroom starters followed by shepherds pie and a burger, all cooked really well. My Wife loved the shepherds pie describing it as “really home cooked”. Great food and service. We will be back. Be prepared for street side parking.

Booked for Xmas Eve and ordered from their Festive Menu. My partner is vegetarian and the menu offered great choices. Service was on point, never felt rushed, staff were very friendly without being intrusive. The food was presented very well and cooked perfectly. If visiting the area again I would certainly look at eating here again.

Excellent chocolate cake! Lovely staff. Cats seem to be very well cared for and are very friendly, particularly if chicken is on offer! Impressive that there are rules about interaction with cats which ensures they are not frightened or teased. Really good atmosphere and a lovely way to spend an hour.

We visit Tocketts Mill 2 to 3 times a month for our Sunday lunch, it's usually just my Wife and I but we have had 12 people around a table before now and everyone including Myself thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Would highly recommend a visit. See you Sunday :)

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff who clearly adore the gorgeous cats. “Chicken time” was the highlight of our visit. Will definitely be back x

Wonderful experience in every way. Such a relaxing environment for humans and cats. The whole space is centred around enrichment for the cats and it shows in their contentment and confidence… the hour went too fast !!! We loved every second. Thank you !

Went for a catch up with friends, food was lovely as always. Live locally and this is our favourite restaurant and music venue in Cottingham.

Called in for an 'in between Christmas and New Year' lunch. Haven't been for many years, not really since the days of 'Luke'. It was friendly, buzzy and welcoming even though we were sat upstairs. The menu is extensive and we could each have chosen many items - will try others next time. The service was good and food excellent. Quite pricey but well worth the money.

A very warm welcome and great service especially as 2 of our family members had gone to the wrong place and were delayed, very well handled. Fabulous food, we did all think we’d have welcomed a dish of lighter vegetables- broccoli etc, to break up the richness of the main courses but it was still delicious.

This has to be our favorite restaurant we are so lucky to have such an amazing place to dine.

We booked for boxing day lunch, arrived in plenty of time for our window table. Window table by the door is what we got, not perfect but we weren't going to let it spoil our meal. Service prompt and efficient as usual, ordered drinks soon arrived. I had a whitebait starter and my wife the crab. Both excellent, served in small dishes. It might have been better to sit the dishes on plates to allow for bread etc. I had the crab salad with a side order of fries. What a portion, generous beyond belief! The salad was fresh and of top quality, the fries crip and fluffy. My wife had the "small" chowder in a cob, again a massive portion and sublime taste. Excellent service throughout, unfortunately no room left for pudding. We finished with coffees and liquors and staggered out. A fantastic meal in our favourite restaurant in Scarborough. Well done the Lookout Brigade.

Enjoyed a lovely meal on Christmas eve the staff were all very good and helpful food was excellent service excellent would highly recommend Raphs Lounge.
