We visited last night. The food and service was excellent. We will definitely go back.

I highly recommend it to any cat lover. The cats are chill and calm and the staff is amazing. They gave me treats to `bribe` the cats and I managed to befriend Captain Claus. They let me know which toys the cat likes so I can get along with them. One can definitely tell the cats are being taken care of and the staff are passionate about the cafe. Will come back if I happen to be around Sheffied!

Yet again a great experience. The food was exceptional and the service was spot on as we celebrating our wedding anniversary thank you very much

My 4th visit to the Good Luck Club. Always had excellent service and good food and a great atmosphere.

We went yesterday for my birthday meal. We arrived at 6.30 pm, the restaurant was freezing cold. The food was good, not fantastic. The wine I ordered was out of stock but they offered the next most expensive at the same price, that was good. The downer on ours and the couple next to us was a works party of 9 who were well too loud ALL the time, so much so we just wanted to go back to our hotel so skipped a desert. Why they could NOT have been seated upstairs I don't know !

Came for a festive 3 course meal, warm welcome on arrival, table set nicely and pleasant waitress. Lovely glass of prosecco, the starters were served promptly and really well presented. Turkey dinner and Cod both well presented and the 4 of us very happy with the taste and quality of the food, very generous portions. The desserts were also delicious. Would definitely come back again and would recommend to others. Great value for money . A nice atmosphere.

We had Steak & Ale pie and Chicken pie for Mondays Pie night and both were excellent. Packed with filling & crisp pastry. Puddings - profiteroles & sticky toffee pudding were equally delicious. Will definitely be back.

This little hideaway is the best fish restaurant around the coast of Scarborough! Fabulous food with a large variety to choose from. We always book for Saturday night bistro and have also been at lunch and breakfast. The kippers at breakfast were amazing. Lunch we had fish & chips and for dinner we enjoy fried calamari & whitebait or sometimes mussel's but always have the favourite lobster! Staff are always friendly and helpful and it has a relaxed atmosphere (not a dressy dress code but anything goes tbh, whether a birthday, group of friends or walkers after their walk and dogs are welcome. Just try it, you’ll likely be back!

Very good food and service and decent prices for quality well presented food .

We had our works Christmas meal here. The restaurant took pre-bookings of meal choices which made the service very quick and smooth on the evening. All the staff were very happy, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and very generous portions. I personally found the beef bourguignon to be one of the best beef dishes I have every had! The restaurant was lovely, it would have just been nice to have some Christmas music in the background and maybe crackers on the table to make it feel festive. Overall, a lovely meal, thank you. We will be back :)

We absolutely love this place, the food is incredible and always offers something different. Lovely staff great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We went for a family Sunday lunch. First of all we all agreed the food was good and we enjoyed it, however the service was bad. It took twenty minutes after ordering to get a bottle of wine or a gin and tonic. One of the party was gluten free and despite being made aware of this they brought the main course with Yorkshire pudding which was not gluten free. When trying to order liqueur coffees they did not have any amoretto and when we changed to Tia Maria they did not have any cream. I have to add here that there is an M & S food hall 50 yards along the road so they could have popped out and bought some!! The senior waitress was aware of what had happened and did apologise and we know there was a reduction in the bill. A shame as lovely food but spoiled by bad service.

Two of us booked for late Sunday lunch. Restaurant was busy but service was good. Roast beef was delicious and the vegetables were cooked well. Only issue for us was that the food could and should have been hotter.

An excellent lunchtime celebrating meal for our family. Catered for various food requirements to a very high standard and service was excellent.

From the minute we walked in the staff were friendly and helpful service with a smile ( which you don’t always get) the young waiters were polite and professional but with a smile. The food was perfect. Delicious. Will definitely recommend to friends n family, and we will be back .

First time at The Craven Arms and we’ll definitely be back. Food (and quality), service and atmosphere were on point and all felt very Christmassy - just lost a point for the cost of tea for 2 which seemed slightly excessive ….would recommend.
