We chose to eat at The Craven Arms whilst on a short break, a family of 4. The staff were very polite, especially a young lad who served us who was friendly and helpful. We were particularly impressed with the food and the price too. Even better, our daughter is vegan and can be fussy, but she loved the chickpea parcels. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

A firm favourite since moving here a couple of years ago. Food is always exceptional in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. So good we ordered extra chowder to take home, comes with prepared sauces, instructions to finish off - so easy the other half, who never cooks, managed it!

Absolutely perfect, attentive service. The large breakfast I ordered was huge, so be never seen anything like it. Despite arriving hungry with a big appetite, I only managed slightly more than half, but nothing went to waste as I have two pooches who were very grateful. It is not just about the quantity, the quality of the bacon, sausages, eggs were superb and absolutely delicious. Tables nearby said they’d be coming back and ordering this. Service with a smile, excellent food quality and plenty of it, what more could you ask for?
