Booked in for Pie Night Thursday which we've frequented previously We were shown to our table in the dining area which was a tiny boothe, to the point where we needed to move the table to get in & out for the toilet etc My husband had the Brie, cranberry wellington which he said was delicious along with a pint of local ale included in the price I had chicken, bacon mushrooms pie, along with an appletise, I asked for a pint of bitter shandy but was told it wasn't included in the offer as it was more expensive ?? Unfortunately my meal came covered in gravy & not in a jug as advertised, I don't like lots of gravy so it had to be returned & replaced which was done without hesitation The twice cooked chips were ok but not upto usual standard All in all slightly disappointing

Lovely location and atmosphere. Staff were great and the portions were very generous. We’ve visited many times and will continue to.

We stayed overnight in the Kings Arms and had an excellent meal. It was pie night, the fish pie and cottage pie were fabulous. The staff are very friendly and it is in a lovely location

It's a while since we last visited Tabby Teas, due to ill health, but it's as lovely as ever. The staff are friendly & helpful, the coffee is great and they had a gluten free cake (this aspect is new to me!) Lots of cats around to play with & take photos of, if they feel like it ! Hopefully it won't be so long before we go again.

Lovely lunch on the terrace with 2 dogs. Two of us went for lighter options and the other two had meals. It was all very tasty and some of us had room for pudding. Some delicious light summer options for a very hot day. Gorgeous location.

Amazing food service and atmosphere , not our first time here and it definitely wont be the last from the moment you walk in you are instantly made welcome.

We visited early on a Friday evening, the service was excellent and the food was even better. My wife had Scallops with Ginger and Spring Onions and I had Squid with Seasonal Vegetables both were excellent.

Fish and Chips Friday - superb, would highly recommend. Large portions, not sure you'll have room for a dessert!

A warm welcome on arrival with plenty of time given for menu choices. The food is a delight and the standard we have come to expect has been maintained, Just wish Maxis was in Harrogate ( our home town) thus avoiding the journey on the busy A59. It is, however, well worth the effort.

Popped by on a sunny day, got a seat in the outside area, service was brill, food came really quick, and was the best parmo iv had in a long time!! Will deffo be back!

My Neurodivergent grandson (12 yrs) and I made our first visit on 22/05/26. We were met by Sophie, who made us feel at ease straight away. Once we read the house rules, sanitised our hands and put on our overshoes (provided and you can choose Orange or Grey), we entered the cafe. We were met by the gallery of cats on the wall, really helpful, so you know what they are all called and how old they are. We had tea and the most delicious cake and shortbread. Grandson was in his element, Sophie offered guidance so he could get the most out of his visit, which cats like to play, and who was the greediest. We spent an hour in the tearoom. cat toys, cat beds, cat scratch poles - the best looked after cats in Sheffield, and we were looked after too. Grandson gave it 10 out of 10 and was nice and chilled. Hope to see you all again soon

What a fantastic place, from the decor to the service, can't recommend this place enough, the food was exceptional , we even got to meet the main lady!! What a nice touch that was

Went on saturday for lunch at 12.00pm , 4 people. The restaurant was bright and fresh. We were seated and offered drinks straight away. The meals were plentiful, well cooked, well presented and tasted delicious. I had chicken sambuca,a chicken breast with plenty of sliced mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Would recommend.

Lovely lunch with friends. Good food and I appreciated that some choices came with a “small plate” option. Friendly and efficient staff. Will definitely be going again
