We absolutely love our visits to this our local doggy friendly Covid safe pub. We cannot praise the whole team enough for all their efforts, and for the best Fish, chips & mushy peas in Sewerby/Bridlington. Thank you all so much Lynn, Stuart & Bertie.
The Ship Inn – BridlingtonAmazing....5 star without a doubt. Very authentic, superb atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and the food..... WOW! Extremely tasty, fresh, hot food.... The Beef Styfado and calamari superb especially, as was everything else ordered at our table. We've been a few times (this was my 14 Yr old daughters first time and she's hooked!) and will be back again soon. Quite simply the best Greek around, so reasonably priced too, just cannot fault it at all. Till the next time.

Even better with the 'Eat out to help out' deal, but would happily have paid the full price. I recommend all of the dishes we had - the chili beef gyoza, the crab tempura, the okinomiyaki sticks, the chili chicken ramen and the chicken katsu curry. Will definitely be coming again!

Don't really get why people are complaining, especially during the eat out to help out scheme and coming with a large group of people to a small restaurant. I had nothing to fault and didn't mind waiting at all as we knew it would be super busy but definitely worth it.

Maxis – YorkHIGHLY RECOMMEND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. IT WAS VERY BUSY, BUT THEY KEPT CHECKING TO SEE IF WE WERE OK. THEY ADVISED US THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE THE PLATTERS (IT WAS EAT OUT TO HELP OUT, SO UNDERSTANDABLE). THE FOOD WAS FRESHLY COOKED AND HOT. WE HAD THE SAUSAGE STARTERS, LAMB AND MIXED KEBAB MAIN COURSE. COULDNT EAT THE CHIPS AS WE WERE FULL FROM EVERYTHING ELSE.

31 Castlegate Restaurant – YorkService was very poor, booking a table for 6 people for a family birthday meal and was left outside for a hour waiting to be seated, majorly overbooked as they don’t turn their online booking off when full. Clearly could not handle being busy. Food was ok but nothing special. Would not be returning!
