It was a lovely evening, there at Thai Sabai restaurant. Food was amazing, the staff were so warm and inviting . Food served really quickly. We loved it. Definitely going back. Thank you.

Booked a table for Weds last week as we always have lunch here when we are in Brid, organised well very COVID safe dining experience, felt very safe. The only criticism is the wearing of gloves, one staff member in particular was only wearing one and touching everything, it would far more hygienic if no gloves were worn and regular hand washing was undertaken. The food was lovely we both had different and couldn’t fault it, really enjoyed it as always. The service was a bit lacking we had to wait an hour as they had a rush on outside, seems a bit odd when you have booked a table that you have to wait because they are busy with walk ins. Despite being told it was table service and after clearing our tables we were not asked if we wanted anything else, staff kept passing our empty table which was all a bit strange. We sat for over 30 mins before I eventually asked if we could have coffees, the comment we got was ‘sorry didn’t realise you wanted anything else’ well we weren’t asked nor were we offered the bill, felt like we shouldn’t be there. We will go back when are are next in Brid as the food is so good and these are very difficult times for all of us.

Amazing food and amazing service even though it was very busy! They couldn’t have done more for us. It was even more special to have some Greek food on our anniversary when we would normally be spending it in Greece. Will be returning very soon.

Another excellent meal, & Covid safe dining experience at The Ship Inn. The team really do have a knack of getting it all right, & also manage to make it look effortless. There’s always a smile, & a friendly welcome for all. Thank you all very much, & keep up the good work.

Perfect food, hot, fresh & so tasty. Service very good as very busy. Restaurant kept very clean through covid client checked on way in & toilets clean, everything as it should be that's why weve been coming here for a lot of years

Visited the evening of Tuesday 25th August. The service was impeccable, polite, efficient and organised for these Covid affected times, and the food was delicious, a real treat. Thank you.

Had a lovely meal here, my pan fried chicken, my husbands steak and my sons vegan dish were all excellent! Lovely atmosphere, will hopefully return on our next visit to york

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff & good location

Food was excellent (especially Stifado), very busy but service was still superb with the very attentive and friendly waiters. Will definitely visit again soon, hilly recommend.

Although not everything on the menu was available do to how busy the restaurant was the food was lovely. Have eaten here several times and would go back again. Once we had order there wasn’t a long wait for our food which was as nice as ever, only thing I didn’t like is they had changed to frozen chips instead of home cooked ones however they could have ran out due to being busy with it being eat out help out.

Fantastic food and service, would definitely recommend this restaurant.
