This is a fantastic restaurant. I have travelled to the Far East many times and this is the best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand. The menu is original and varied and everything is fresh and tasty.

Sangthai Restaurant – YorkOwned by George the Greek who has the Olive Tree's this new Italian is very popular with well heeled clientele. I have visited twice now on mid week nights & it has always been packed. Not the cheapest Italian around as there are few pasta dishes & more meat & fish dishes to chose from. Excellent service which feels very genuine lovely desserts & a free Limoncello if you're lucky!
Great food, excellent service and value for money. The ambience and layout were ideal for our celebration meal. The same high standards have been met every time we dine there. Gives a city centre feel without the city centre prices. Both Adam and Alex have made us feel welcome and 'special' every time we go there. We recommend you give it a try. They are also happy to accommodate 'faddy eaters', so even my granddaughter enjoyed it.
No 21 – HuddersfieldLovely little place tucked out of the way. Healthy and tasty vegetarian food. The mixed starter was to die for, Next we had Masala Dosa and zuccini and dhal curry plus rice and naan. Although the Dosa was tasty it was a North Indian slant on a South Indian dish - the Sambar was reminiscent of Rasam (thin spicy soup) and the coconut chutney was sweet - almost like dessicated coconut in yoghurt. The mango lassi was lovely and the whole meal for 2 was less that £30. Just a shame it didn't quite reach the authenticiy with the dosa.
Prashad – BradfordLove this place. Have been twice and both occasions the food and service were superb, the starters in particular are really good. The building is beautiful, the interior is a clever mix of old architectural features and modern design, the tables are roomy and you don't feel crammed in as you can do in some places. will be visiting again and again.
Deeva Restaurant – Pudseyi been santiness 2 weeks ago food great but i been this week turkis restaurant next to santines amazing food and excellent service if i go out i choose to turkis...
Sambuca – DoncasterOne of my favourite Indian restaurants. The food is always really good (we regularly get takeaway from here also and the quality is the same). The surroundings are nice especially in the conservatory bit. Service is always prompt and efficient though can seem a little flat at times - more smiles please guys!! all in all a good place to eat1
Kebabeesh – BradfordFood was generally acceptable. Staff I found was abrupt and quite rude. Won't recommend.
Saffron Desi – YorkI would not recommend this pub for food if i got payed to do so..What a consistent let down over many years..from a local over the road... Waste of money until they buck there ideas up...Sorry,truth hurts..I see censorship lives here too...what a shocker eh???

Bulls Head, The – WakefieldMy advice is stay well clear. I had been recommended this pub many times for its food and so decided to pop in on the way back from town today. As it was only for a quick one my wife and I just ordered a bowl of chips. After ordering we sat in the beer garden. Very soon after sitting down the chips were brought out to us. We started to dig in but regrettable soon stopped eating as some chips were cold, some hot, some soft and some hard. Since neither of us like to complain much we continued with our drinks. As we were leaving we took the decision to hand the chips back to the landlord/barman (not sure) and let him know. We were not bothered about a refund or another serving, we just thought it would be best for him to know that the quality of the chips was not good. Unbelievable the landlord/barman then started to argue with us as he pinched all the chips with his fingers and asking us where the hard ones were (err I think we ate them, that's why we are politely complaining) and telling us that they will be cold when you sit in the beer garden (despite the fact that some were cold from the moment he brought them out to us). He then strode off saying he would eat them himself. Personally I have never come across such a horrendously bad attitude as a customer before and whatever there food is like on a good day this is one place we will never visit again or recommend. Shame because the pint of black sheep was very good.
Green Dragon Inn Exelby – RichmondBrilliant simply the best especially when Carl is frying
Cave Street Fisheries – Hullvery friendly recommend to anyone with or without children
Noahs Ark Inn – SheffieldNever lets us down -absolutely faultless food and service in a nice location
Panda – StokesleyBooked a table on recommendations on this site, ordered food and after 1 whole hour after ordering my wife and i walked out!!!
The Three Horseshoes – WakefieldLovely surroundings and a great atmosphere. The staff always make you feel welcome and the food is excellent. Perfect restaurant for any occasion and is fabulous on a sunny day/evening for eating Al Fresco.
Salute @ The White Swan – RothwellThis is a fab little place, great value food - the box meals are amazing, you get your own TV dinner style box with little compartments of dipping sauce, rice, tempura (delicious), salad and whatever your main course is for about £12. I'm vegetarian and I love it as they have 'fake chicken' which appears to be a type of quite tough tofu, I'm making it sound weird but it's really yummy, loads of just vegetable type dishes as well if you don't like the fake meat substitutes. The only bug bear is that you can't book a table so if you are going on a weekend make sure you arrive with about 1 hours notice of when you want to eat as you will have to wait. The service can also be a little bit slow so be prepared to wait when they are busy
Little Tokyo – Leeds City CentreLast week my family and I came for just a snack at this quiet joint. Not knowing what we should order, being spoilt for choice, we were given a wonderful run through by Minal, the daughter -in - law, of the new items such as mushroom bhajias in rich batter, Gujarati street snacks and why we should eat steamed dhokras as a health item. All in an untiring and enthusiastic manner, fresh superlatives, just as the ingredients, and we ended up with a sumptuous meal of varied and many items. Really were made to feel welcome - just as my mama would do so and serve me. I cannot stop not coming here, it is infectious.
