Myself, my husband and a close friend went to Maxis twice in a week. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Food was very tasty, hot, large portions, so you had better be hungry and we didn't have to wait ages for it. Can highly recommend. Staff very attentive, pleasant and polite. We didnt even have to pour our own wine. The waiter did this for us. Will definitely be going back when we are in the area. Many thanks.

Went for Sunday roast it was a lovely atmosphere and staff were very good and the food was was delicious.Have booked Christmas Day for 9adults so very much looking forward to that.

A little treasure! We were really looking forward to trying this place and it managed to exceeded expectations. The food and cocktails were fantastic, particularly the beef braised in red wine and adobo and the croquetas. The service was also great - really helpful with any questions we had and super friendly. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back soon!

We had the most amazing time here once again. I always love coming to visit the kitties and you can tell they are very well cared for and loved. The drinks and cakes are also amazing. Staff are always friendly and are good at encouraging people to interact with the cats.

first time eating here - fantastic food, fantastic service and fantastic atmosphere. Our server was not only helpful but had great character(we sat at her favourite table) The menu was Sunday dinner but did cater for other things. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Lovely meal before an event at the Town Hall. Perfectly located within walking distance. Excellent quality food, great service and value for money. The atmosphere was great too, but the door didn't fit too well and it was a cold windy evening so the door kept blowing open.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Some of the staff are very friendly and helpful; others less so. Shown to reserved table and waited for table to be cleaned and set. Then waited to order. Issue with the order not going through meant waiting another 30 minutes just for drinks. Drinks finally arrived after we'd already started eating and were incorrect. Ordered and charged for large carvery but given regular tokens and plates so had to challenge final bill. Thanks to the staff that noticed and helped with these issues but generally not great. An "it wasn't out fault" apology at the till didn't quite make up for it.

Fantastic to experience this gem of a restaurant on a rainy Sunday lunchtime. The staff were superb and the food was equally excellent. We will be coming back for more! Nice playlist too btw.

First time here whilst having a weekend away for our wedding anniversary. Lovely welcome on entry, delicious food (roast beef amazing and good portion) good wine and good service. No complaints at all but maybe just a touch on the expensive side. Would happily eat here again if in the area

Ate on Sunday 27th October @ 7pm. Only our table for 2 and 1 other birthday party which was 8 people. Service was fantastic, informative, attentive but with charm - although the place was quiet we were given just the right amount of time and talk without it feeling invasive but also there for anything we needed and nothing was too much effort. Venue was spotless, the tables were set out with intention and the cutlery and glasses were gleaming - it was cool in there but with it being October and glass fronted it wasn't unbearable, I was wearing a shirt and it didn't detract from the evening but I'm hot blooded, maybe for others it would have required a jumper. Atmosphere albeit quiet felt pleasant, the venue is in Hull not Zante but with greek radio playing and other similar touches it felt more authentic than themed. Food... We ordered Tzatszki & Hummus with Pitta breads, Halloumi and garlic mushrooms all for starters and then we both had Moussaka for mains with a portion of chips and a portion of veg and then we just had cokes to drink. The food was stunning, I believe all home made where possible, ingredients were fresh and tasty and although we intentionally ordered far too much just to try the dishes we ended up eating far too much if everything due to them all being so nice. The portion sizes are also great value for money... Starters are the size of most places mains. All in all with tip I spent £100 which for a meal for 2, in the style of venue with the authentic dishes and attention to detail as a bonus I don't think is bad at all, we would have spent less if we knew what we wanted. The only issue is when we return we want to try many more dishes so will order lots again and no doubt spend the same and when we've worked our way through the menu we will no doubt continue to order lots just due to each dish being so tasty and being unable to pick just 1. If you want somewhere to go for the food, in a clean and accomodating environment then you won't be disappointed.

Went last night for my birthday. Amazing food, fantastic service. Really enjoyed the meal, each dish was perfect, very authentic. Bonus was upon paying my 2 sons had covered the bill! Highly recommend.
