What a delightful bistro restaurant which is set in the heart of Skipton and offers a varied and tasty menu . The atmosphere was calm, the service prompt and polite but, most importantly, the food was very tasty and of superb quality. A return trip will be planned soon.

Little Sicily – BridlingtonWe ate twice in the King's Arms restaurant when we stayed recently. The Pork Medallions and Stuffed Plaice roll were both excellent. We enjoyed the Pie Night, having Cottage Pie and Chicken, Bacon and Leek Pie. All meal tasted home made.

Le Bistro Des Amis – SkiptonOur first ever visit here. We expected it to be quiet for a Monday evening around 7 but the bar area was absolutely buzzing when we arrived. Staff were so friendly and there was a happy atmosphere. Service very efficient. Menu is extensive but we opted for traditional ham egg and chips and scampi and chips. Both tasted good and the portions were very decent size. Only slight gripe was that the ham is actually a thick piece of gammon which was huge but not what I expected. Decor is quirky and interesting. Would definitely consider again if we find ourselves in the area.
