Ate here with friends, had a lovely meal, all had the £28 per head banquet which was excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our night in beautiful surroundings. John the Concierge was extremely helpful and welcoming. Cant wait to go back.

Just to say that I totally agree with the taxi driver, it was OK but not for the prices charged. There are much better value places in and around Crosby

Had a great meal here: food was lovely and it has a nice friendly feel inside. They also seem to do a lot of weekday deals.

Went here May 2011 after having had a lovely meal for my brother's birthday a couple of years ago. What a disappointment! The food was incredibly salty this time and lacked flavour - I asked for a replacement but that was equally inedible. My partner's meal was a little better but nowhere near as good as I remember. They also add 10% service charge on automatically, which I thought was very cheeky given the poor experience. A waste of an evening and at £50 for two courses, two drinks and one side, not cheap either.

Long story short!! Don't go unless you want to wait for an hour and 20 minutes to be served without any apology once it finally arrived after complaining 3 times. A lot of other customers just left!! Very disappointing!!!

Ive visited the Colliers Arms for several years now and have never had a meal that has been anything but excellent. You wouldn't think that such first class food could be served in a little pub off the beaten track.... but it is!!!! Whilst recommendations are a great guide for others there's a part of me that wishes I'm not doing so. Id rather keep this little gem all to myself!!!!

I didn't enjoy this restaurant at all. The food was OK but the price was ridiculous, very expensive. It was really cold inside the restaurant but they didn't turn the heating on and the waitress, although very kind, couldn't speak proper English. This was the worst restaurant I went to in Liverpool.

chose the £9.99 meal deal that was advertised on chalkboard outside, 3 tapas, bread and glass of wine. when it came to pay they charged me over £25, said the meal deal was only Mon-Thurs but it didn't say that on the board outside !!!

Absolutely wonderful place!!! Food is out of this world. Staff so friendly and nice... made to feel so so welcome... Go there!!!!

This is my local Indian and really is the nicest Indian restaurant for miles. The customer service is spot on and the food is always beautiful cooked using good quality produce. With a good menu and realistic portions Zyka offers, the competition has something to worry about!!

This really was the nicest Indian Takeaway meal we´ve had... probably ever!!!! It arrived before ETA which was good. Everything was just cooked beautifully and the portions of the mains were HUGE! We normally order from another local takeaway called Desi but, sorry Desi, you have lost our custom. This place is great!

Not recommended at the moment - have been ringing for two days with no answer - can't find opening hours anywhere online - website has some weird accessibility instructions that mention an access key - not impressed so far.

We visited Magic Spices last Thursday night and would recommend the restaurant and food. We had poppadoms, two main meals, two portions of rice and a peshwari bread plus two bottles of cobra and a bottle of house red wine. Bill was £40.25. Staff friendly and efficient. Good prices and the house wine is excellent value at £8.95 a bottle. Will be going back.

Went to Bistro Noir on a Tuesday for the cheap £10 deal which included a drink. Could not fault any part of our meal or the service. Friendly staff and owner and great atmosphere, lovely vegetarian choices, excellent price, will be back soon!

this is our new favourite place to eat in Liverpool. The best Greek food we've had in years! Friendly staff who went out of their way for my difficult mother in law, she was even happy for once! I can't recommend this place enough. If you want fabulous food in a friendly atmosphere you should try it. Great location. Looking forward to our next visit!

What a great place this WAS to eat,now although they advertise 2 for £10 DONT BE FOOLED THIS OFFER HAS STOPPED. Really enjoyed the value for money and pleased that it was getting busier and busier over the last few months, so much we started booking and the staff are always friendly and helpful BUT WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT now the deal has finished although it has been replace with a 2 for £12 Pizza or Pasta dishes. The main dishes although value for money are more in line with restaurant prices not Bistro prices. It will be interesting to see if the place looses its appeal to its passing trade or regulars like us
