We visited Magic Spices last Thursday night and would recommend the restaurant and food. We had poppadoms, two main meals, two portions of rice and a peshwari bread plus two bottles of cobra and a bottle of house red wine. Bill was £40.25. Staff friendly and efficient. Good prices and the house wine is excellent value at £8.95 a bottle. Will be going back.

Went to Bistro Noir on a Tuesday for the cheap £10 deal which included a drink. Could not fault any part of our meal or the service. Friendly staff and owner and great atmosphere, lovely vegetarian choices, excellent price, will be back soon!

this is our new favourite place to eat in Liverpool. The best Greek food we've had in years! Friendly staff who went out of their way for my difficult mother in law, she was even happy for once! I can't recommend this place enough. If you want fabulous food in a friendly atmosphere you should try it. Great location. Looking forward to our next visit!

What a great place this WAS to eat,now although they advertise 2 for £10 DONT BE FOOLED THIS OFFER HAS STOPPED. Really enjoyed the value for money and pleased that it was getting busier and busier over the last few months, so much we started booking and the staff are always friendly and helpful BUT WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT now the deal has finished although it has been replace with a 2 for £12 Pizza or Pasta dishes. The main dishes although value for money are more in line with restaurant prices not Bistro prices. It will be interesting to see if the place looses its appeal to its passing trade or regulars like us

I had visited a few Indian restaurants around groove road and sea side bank, but this restaurant provided me a real Indian, precisely kerala food, great job you guys at kerala kitchen,and i hope to come back soon.

After reading the reviews about the spice lounge I was a bit worried about what we were going to find. NO need the restaurant is beautiful and in a great setting. Service was a little slow but this was 9pm on a Saturday night and very busy. The food was great a little expensive but you do pay for the whole experience. I will return to this restaurant, fantastic night.

Le Boulevard is the best place to eat in Southport - I never eat anywhere else! The staff are very friendly and will do anything to make your eating experience a pleasurable one. There is a fabulous menu with a wide choice of main meals and light bites! The chef is very passionate about his work and this reflects in the excellent quality of presentation and taste of the dishes. A 'must' place to eat!

I worked at this restaurant for six years and will miss it a lot. The food is delicious and ALWAYS fresh although it is only a small place it has a lovely chilled out atmosphere and the staff will always go out of their way to please you. Definitely worth a visit :) wouldn't choose anywhere else to eat in Southport.

After visiting Bistro Jacques dozens of times, decided for a change. Visited in April with my son and ordered the" lunch rapide". Ordered the same dishes I normally have at BJ's. Sorry guys, BJ's wins. My main was smaller, not hot and slightly overcooked, My son had chicken nuggets, chips and beans, which was served looking as though it had been sat under a hot plate for a little too long, (you know, that shrivelled, glazed look) although it was not hot enough. I did not realize I was also entitled to a dessert as part of the offer and no one reminded me. However, the staff were so lovely, we did not complain, we just ate, still gave a decent tip (how could we not!) and left. Maybe we will visit again some time as staff and surroundings still great so would like to give you another chance. In the meantime, sticking with your big brother BJ's

Been going to Bistro Jacques for over 2 years now. We usually go on a Tuesday evening to make use of the special offer. On almost every occasion everything is perfect, from service, to food, to bill. However, even when we do encounter a problem, which is extremely RARE -m hey, no one is perfect -ok then, the fatty steak I had a few weeks ago - the staff are unfazed and extremely polite, doing everything possible to make things right without making us feel embarrassed . We recommended this place to our neighbours and they are now hooked and told us they go even more than us. They introduced their relatives and they too have now recommended their friends! We should have asked Bistro Jacques for discount for recommendations. But then we are rewarded on every visit anyway just because of the quality and atmosphere of the place,.

I recently ate here with my family who were visiting Southport. The choice was excellent, the food was excellent and the service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant with reservation.

My husband and I ate here on Friday night in early May for my birthday. I was sincerely impressed by the staff, service provided and the food itself. We requested a different table to sit at which, due to being fully booked, they were not able to accommodate. However they were keen to stress that as soon as another table became free we would be moved. Each person who attended our table had been informed of our request and we knew they were trying their best to help us. The food was absolutely delicious and we will return but the stand out aspect of this restaurant above 99% of others is their superb customer service.
