Zeera Tandoori – HeswallMy husband and I decided to try this restaurant as we knew the view was supposed to be fabulous. In this respect it did not disappoint and the restaurant certainly had the wow factor. We went early evening to watch the sunset and the lights come on across the city. We enjoyed a drink in the bar first although had to ask to be served after a long wait even though a lady had shown us to a seat. The food was very good in the main with a few misses. I found it difficult to eat my main which was in a large dish with a knife and fork. My side order of butter beans had the consistency of bullets, however my husband's mashed potato was lovely. The house wines were very good, well kept and served correctly. The chocolate mousse dessert was bizarre in that it had no sweetness whatsoever and was unpleasant. The manager had the decency to come over and was very helpful and receptive to our hopefully constructive criticism. There was no issue in removing the mentioned 2 items from the bill. It was an expensive meal but it felt special in terms of a dining experience. One small gripe - we had to ask for tap water as the bottled stuff was being pressed upon us.

Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City CentreWent to Esteban for anniversary meal with hubby. Although the food was excellent as always and the service was good the restaurant was just so noisy (8-9pm on a Saturday night). If you're looking for great food and service by all means visit Esteban, but I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic meal for two if you're looking for somewhere to eat at the weekend.
Esteban Mediterranean Tapas – AigburthWent for a birthday treat for my wife and was extremely impressed. The food and service was excellent. The restaurant was understandably and deservably well patronised Will certainly visit again in the near future.
Best Indian food on Merseyside. But. Worst service. You will be ignored!!!!
Kerala Kitchen – BirkenheadGood food, dreadful service. Jacob, nice guy , the manager has problems with listening. Don't bother to order drinks, you will be ignored Food is great. when or if it arrives.
Kerala Kitchen – BirkenheadJust back from the Panoramic after a celebratory meal. Felt I had to give a fair an honest account of this newcomer to the Merseyside food scene. Of course the views and aesthetics of this 34th floor restaurant are unchallenged in the city, however the overly attentive and sometimes arrogant staff do nothing to disguise the surprising blandness of the food we dined on. The overly sized sizes cool plates (temperature not design) couldn't hide the fact that two of the three steaks we ordered came as Blue rather than medium. However the scallops for starters were cooked to perfection, but on cold plates doesn't do them justice. Of course overall a great evening, and you cannot not admire the awesome views across the Mersey towards the Wirral and inwards towards the city. A little more attention is required on the basics, and combination of flavours to justify the prices they charge. Hard and fast locals such as the SideDoor wipe the floor in terms of taste and passion, for a fraction of the price, and the Panoramic isn't a patch on the Carriage Works for overall dining indulgence. Fully recommend this Beetham tower novice to the scene, but for passionate fooders, don't have to high an expectation, as you will be disappointed. ratings : atmosphere : 10/10 service : 7/10 food : 6/10 value for money : 5/10 overall : 7/10 : A must go to restaurant with great views of the city, but the 3 month waiting list does not justify the quality or taste of food. Must try Heathcotes, CarriageWorks and SideDoor for better dining.

Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City Centreworst restaurant ever, the toilets make you want to be sick if you aren't already after the food. Next the manager in there isn't even worth me using my words over, he is an arrogant **** He should be shut down, i feel sorry for all the staff there and his family
Must be the best pub in the northwest. The food is fab and so are the staff
Hesketh Arms – SouthportCheap, totally tasteless, and disgusting!
Chipmunks – St.HelensVisited on Sat 27th Sept for my Birthday. Thought the service was awful and the food was average. Would not visit again and unless they get some new management in would not recommend.
Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City CentreI WENT TO KARMA FOR THE FIRST TIME THE OTHER NIGHT AND IT HAD COME TO MY KNOWLEDGE THAT IT HAS BEEN OPEN SINCE 2002. AFTER I LICKED MY PLATE CLEAN, I HAD REALISED THAT I HAD WASTED SIX YEARS OF MY LIFE GOING TO OTHER INDIAN RESTAURANTS IN WEST KIRBY.THERE IS ONLY ONE INDIAN RESTAURANT AND ITS CALLED ................KARMA
Karma – West KirbyI recently went to this restaurant for a lunch with a friend visiting Liverpool for the first time. The ordering system was very chaotic for such a busy place. We finally received our drinks from a very surly waitress who could barely speak English. When our food arrived, one item was not what we had ordered and the other was served without any cutlery, or offer of dressings. I was very disappointed with the experience although the food was passable.
The Quarter – Liverpool City CentreVisited on Sat 27th Sept for my Birthday. Thought the service was awful and the food was average. Would not visit again and unless they get some new management in would not recommend.
I have been here many times and yesterday was left feeling very disappointed. The service was terrible, with food shoved at you and whipped away from under your noses, without any pleasantries- not the usual standard. The food was not awful, but was also not what everyone knows is the 'usual' set by Bistro Jacques. The fishcake was bland and burnt, the sugar snap peas stringy. And the piece de resistance (normally) the Creme Brulee was old- it had split under the sugar. My friends also complained that their meals were also not of the quality that Bistro Jacques has previously met. I will return, but a shame for a restaurant that is normally so good.
Bistro Jacques – Liverpool City CentreLovely ambience and most staff very friendly - chatty without being intrusive - food lovely and well presented ......very pleasant place to spend an evening....
