Excellent restaurant, fantastic addition to Duke Street. The food was fabuloso! - the fajitas are the best. Not your average Mexican restaurant, would recommend to anyone.

Just been out for Valentines day. Restaurant was full and the staff coped excellently. The food was of a high standard and we weren? rushed because it was busy. The staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was good. Had the Greek banquet (meze) and a bottle of wine and still had change out of £40...... all round an excellent night.

I took my girlfriend to La Vina last night for Valentines meal, and it was superb. We had 4 tapas as a starter, that was lovely, then we had a seafood and chicken paella for our main, that was awesome. The service was quick, they left us to eat in peace, but were not far away if we needed them, the food was super, and the price shocked me when i got the bill, it was a lot less than i thought. Ill be going back to LaVina very soon, anyone who wants a feel and taste of spain, go to LaVina!!!

1st visit to the Devon Doorway since it was refurbished ... what an improvement. Both to the food/wine on offer and to the ambience. Recommended.

The location is what really makes the difference, a great place to eat, particularly on a Summer's evening with the view over the estuary. I've eaten tastier/more imaginatively prepared food locally but it's still very good. The overall experience is very enjoyable.

We have been going to the Marsh Cat for several years as it is one of our favourites. We like seafood and the menu has interesting and tasty fish dishes (as well as other options). the friendly service and location also add to the occasion.

Being a Malayalee I was surprised to find an authentic Kerala restaurant in Liverpool Must say the food reminds me of food I get at home. The taste is very authentic and so is the food. The service is cordial and accommodating.

Hello, I went to Savina Mexican Restaurant in Duke Street yesterday evening. A friend had told me that a new mexican restaurant had opened in Liverpool. I am American and when it comes to Mexican food I can honestly say that I am an expert. We arrived about 7:30pm the restaurant is very modern with fantastic decor. Our waitress was lovely, Spanish speaking as well. We where given a trio of dips and nacho chips. Whilst this restaurant serves its classic mexican dishes, it also serves Modern Mexico City Dishes. I went for the Rojo Snapper and my wife went for the Rib Eye Steak. The snapper was cooked to perfection and my wife said his steak was divine. We both agreed that the Patatas Bravas potatoes (which where chunky potatoes with red onion and chorizo) were absolutely fantastic. I have recommended this restaurant to relatives visiting Liverpool next week, but the only down side was, when they tried to book they where fully booked. A truly fantastic evening. Thanks to all the staff at Savina.

It's fantastic, we go every time we stay in Southport, and have even been known to drive from Manchester just to eat there! Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service! We've been a few times now and highly recommend it. Love the 'amuse bouche' which are served before the meal - nice touch!

I am a regular at the Palace and have always found the food to be second to non. The service is friendly and the Staff always make you feel extremely welcome. The menu is extensive and modestly priced and, in my opinion, delivers the best Indian food for miles around. Well done to Steve and the Team for a job CONTINUALLY well done!

The food is impeccable, the service is always prompt and with a smile, it has a cosy, friendly atmosphere, and a meal for two with starters usually comes to just under £20! A 5* establishment!!

First time at the Chilli Banana, will be going again soon. Food and the service were excellent. Could not be faulted, except that we had to ask twice for the bill!!

A group of us dined here last night. The refit is lovely and the food fantastic, esp hand dived scallops!! The meat fell from lamb shank no complaints whatsoever. Well done.

All you can eat buffet Sunday and Wednesday (includes peking duck starters and deserts) the food is amazing we have been so impressed we took a party of 25 to impress them! The staff make you feel at ease being attentive but not intrusive. The week day business lunch is great value at £2.99 for a main course.
