We had a great meal. There was a warm welcome from the friendly staff and a good atmosphere to the place. I looked around and could see that everyone else was enjoying the experience too

Having only just discovered Blackburne Houses Cafe Bar I definately will be returning, the food was very tasty and I believe all made on the premises. Well worth a try

THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY

My wifeand I wined and dined at the Anchor during a nostalgic visit to the Wirral in September 03.We were pleasantly surprised by the good standards all round. Many thanks and best wishes to the proprietor and staff.

We were made to feel so welcome by every one at the restaurant. Everything was warm and friendly. Service was great and the food choice was incredable! The children are treated so well and they even have childrens cocktails. The offers they have on are brilliant. I recomend to all!

I have been to many Greek restaurants around the world. This definately impressed me the most. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is excellent. Yeia mas Haralambos.

I would consider myself abit of a regular the food has alway's been very good ,the Black pudding on crostini in particular also the Gamba's pilpil,the best time to eat is at night ,with the very atomospheric lighting and spanish music.the service is unhurried and the range of wine's is good but I wish they would stock a good selection of sherrie's ,to start the evening off.Oh the breakfast's are really good too.

really enjoyed the evening. 4 of us went out for dinner and we were all tired and weren't particularly in the mood, but the staff were patient with us and it turned out to be a lovely meal with great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning as soon as we can!

My favourite Chinese on the Wirral, alays a welcome face, great prices and best of all delicious food - the Cantonese Chicken is amazing.

A customer for many years. Food, all fresh and home produced even the desserts, ice-cream and chocolates. Attention to detail, excellent and without being over the top. Menu original with a frequently changing and seasonal set of options. Given enough notice they will prepare anything within reason. Prices remarkably inexpensive given the quality and service. Keep up the good work.
