Along way from home looking for somewhere to grab a tasty bite, souvla didn’t disappoint. Me & my partner always have the share platter no matter where we go, and out of the 5/6 we’ve had. This is by far the best, great value for money. We knew by the first taste of the chip, it was going to be delicious. Couldn’t finish the platter but we brought it home and had it again later on. Will absolutely be driving the 60 minutes back to souvla in the future. Thanks again!

Ma Edgertons is our go to when we are going to the theatre. Staff are so friendly and the food and drinks are fab!! The atmosphere is electric, especially if you visit on a match day! It’s in a perfect location from train station and the theatre. Perfect start to a perfect evening. Will definitely be booking again.

We booked a last minute table for 9 on the night of the musical fireworks. The restaurant was very busy and staff were rushed off their feet. Taking that into account they were friendly, still smiling and happy to help. They still engaged in conversation with us and made us feel welcome. Particular thanks to the lady with blonde hair, very helpful during such a busy time. Food came out fast and was delicious. When I walked in and realised how busy they were I was expecting poor service, long wait and poor food. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely return. Thank you for keeping the hospitality industry alive

As always our food was delicious, Simon and the staff are always amazing and very friendly. I love the atmosphere in there it’s cozy warm and friendly. Excellent value for money. Well done I will never tire of going here, 46 years at least now.

Had a fantastic meal and service was faultless.. staff were so attentive.. the best experience eating out we have had for a long time.. and such good value for money. Would definitely recommend and will be back again very soon

We always go to Ma egerton's before we watch something at the liverpool empire theatre, we have never been disappointed no matter what food we have and the scouse stew is the best stew I've ever had. The atmosphere is great with all the pictures around the place and the service has always been absolutely perfect.

Food was lovely but service was very slow. You were obviously under staffed.

We came for my husband's birthday meal and everything was absolutely perfect. The service was impeccable, the food amazing, it was a warm evening and we were sat in the indoor/outside bit and it was just everything we could have asked for. Will definitely be returning!!!

Visited here again for the 3rd time on Sunday, same fabulous polite staff and great service. I love seeing the change in all the cats as they are so happy and content and love playing. They make you laugh with their speed at trying to steal your food. Just can’t fault the place.
