This is my second visit and both times have seen : Surroundings are very local Italian bistro/restaurant Service that is friendly and welcoming The food both times has been excellent. A good choice of anti pasti. Good choice of bruschetta all great. I’ve stuck to fish both times. Delicious Only fault I can find is I cannot get an evening booking until the end of July! But that’s great for them!

Our first visit after the latest lockdown with our granddaughters who say this is forever their favourite restaurant . As always, we were made to feel really welcome and as always, the food was absolutely delicious. Thanks Umburto and your staff. xx

We had a lovely meal at the Anatolia grill in Prestwich last night, the restaurant was very well organised & we felt very safe. The staff were all very efficient & pleasant & the food was delicious & we will definately be returning.

The food at The Fat Loaf is delicious and the service friendly. I asked for a slight change to one of the desserts and this was accommodated and was super tasty! Would 100% recommend if you are considering going. We will definitely be going back.

Food was lovely but the waiters were rude ! The menus need updating, because after asking about what was showing on it , we were told, we don’t do the 2 course set menu anymore because of covid and we have made no money for over a year so don’t be shy, and spend lots of money! The menu says dishes came with rice and sautéed potatoes, not anymore, you choose one, again because they made no money for over a year! Can’t afford to change the menus either. The whole attitude of both the waiters was disgusting. We won’t be going back, we weren’t keen to go anyway, from a previous visit that wasn’t great, but we had vouchers towards what we spent.

Four of us had a meal on Friday 25th June. Great food and atmosphere. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Overall, possibly the best meal we've had out since lockdown was eased. Will definitely go again. This place is a great addition to social/entertainment venues in New Mills. Wish them every success.

Really lovely meal yesterday. Sat in one of the booths. Lovely atmosphere, extra touched with drinks, great service couldn't fault a thing. Also really well organised and safe rules regarding covid. Can't wait to return!

Love this restaurant and so glad it has moved from Reddish where we used to go, to New Mills where it is even better. You get a very friendly welcome from all the team and the atmosphere is lovely. The authentic Sicilian food is delicious served by knowledgeable, hard working and friendly people. What more can you want. I advise everybody to book and see for yourselves. Phenomenal food!! Authentic silcilian food, all freshly prepared and cooked with such passion thats evident from the presentation and taste! Nicky and Alessio's hospitality is outstanding and the front of house service is second to none!!! An absolute 11 out of 10 and we will definitely be visiting again.
