Fat Loaf – SaleVisited the restaurant at 8.00pm Saturday 11th December, had booked a table for 4 persons. Restaurant extremely busy, allocated table was fit for two people and to small for four. It was so close to the next table that one of our guests had to move regularly to allow access. The food was overly expensive. Not a good dining experience.
A Tavola Gastronomia Siciliana – StockportWe so enjoyed an excellent meal taking the advice of which dishes to try from our delightful waiter, Harry. Some of the dishes which we hadn't heard of before were a pleasure to experience. As one of our party was coeliac it was great to see so many gluten free options for her. Harry was so polite and knowledgeable and made us feel at ease and nothing was too much for him. Thank you
Amma’s Canteen – ChorltonVisited Wednesday 8th December for my partners birthday. Food was excellent from start to finish and the service was second to none. We received a complimentary garlic bread and our little boy was given a dessert at the end. Thank you! Definitely recommend and would definitely return! Best Italian I’ve had.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreMy go to restaurant for pre theatre meals. Front of house friendly and fabulous, atmosphere buzzing, service always great despite often very busy at this time. Only downside is the prices, very expensive menu compared to other Manchester eateries so always stick to pre theatre
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreGreat service, great food ,lovely evening out 5+
A Tavola Gastronomia Siciliana – StockportVisited restaurant for the first time. Great selection of good and wine to suit all tastes. Staff were lovely and attentive . Food selection we had was excellent. Would highly recommend the restaurant.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreOur second visit - if we were local to Manchester, we would come much more. Interesting and delicious food, great service and overall really enjoyed eating here. Loved the masala vegetarian dosa.
Amma’s Canteen – ChorltonOn Monday my Wife and I had one of those rare moments to spend the day together child free and we chose to take a drive from Preston to the little picturesque village of Roby Mill to have lunch at Il Mulino and it was fabulous. A table for two next to the Wine Cellar where you can choose wine to suit your meal and budget….there are some very special bottles to choose from! We had Garlic King Prawns and Chicken Livers for Starters both delicious, Chicken Supreme and Salmon for main (empty plates) along with desserts, the names of which I cannot remember but needless to say there was none left! I ordered a Cortado coffee to finish off which came with a glass of fresh iced water on the side which is a lovely touch. To summarise, we had one of the best meals for a long long time, the staff very faultless and the Charcuterie makes this a must visit establishment…thanks everyone…we WILL be back
Il Mulino – WiganOur family trip to A Tavola last Saturday lunch was superb. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing and friendly and the food is amazing and the staff couldn't have done more for us. Authentic Sicilian street food. Great for families. We made the trip to New Mills to see the new location of A Tavola, the new restaurant is lovely. They used to be our local restaurant and a favourite of our young son. The proprietor, Nicky always made a fuss of him and he really wanted to go to their new place. We were not disappointed and will be back soon.
A Tavola Gastronomia Siciliana – StockportExcellent service and top quality food. Hadn't been before, but this is my second visit in a week and I will definitely be back!
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreWe have ordered the take out food during the lockdown many times and always loved the home cooked traditional food but now we have experienced the restaurant, its an even bigger wow!. Perfect service in every way as staff are extremely attentive, friendly and knowledge of the menu so outstanding experience. The food is unlike menus tasted before and you can see it is authentic Sicilian due to incredible choices, names and recipes. The food is truly stunning and we including our 11 years old enjoyed every plate. Our son was kept busy with colouring in which he enjoyed and he drew a picture for the staff. Great atmosphere at 5.30pm was full on Saturday but the staff coped as the restaurant is run to perfection. Book early and you will not be disappointed. We love it and will be regulars for sure.
A Tavola Gastronomia Siciliana – StockportWe visited Crowded House on Sunday evening while Sian was singing. As usual it didn’t disappoint. The service is absolutely fantastic, the staff are so friendly. We had the Christmas dinner which was fab. There’s a reason we are regulars!!
Crowded House – BuryVisited on Sat 4th December with 2 friends. The ambiance, decor and general feeling of the place is great. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. All staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Nothing was too much trouble. I would completely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be visiting again very soon. It is very much my favourite restaurant at the moment.
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichFood was spot on very friendly staff good value for your money Will definitely go back
Ciao Ristorante – Stockport4th visit. Fantastic food and service as always.
La Sentidos Loca – WiganAmma’s Canteen is the best Tamil restaurant in Manchester. It is one that a person that loves food should definitely give it a shot, you would most probably come back again. The authenticity of Amma’s Canteen substantiates their owners vision. Hoping for Amma’s Canteen to broaden their presence in Manchester.
