Delicious authentic Japanese food in a genuine izakaya atmosphere…I try to eat here at least once a week whilst working away from home…My wife’s Japanese, the food here is every bit as good as the home cooking I miss…highly recommended!

Armenique Gatley. Fabulous coffee and lovely light lunch of ciabatta sandwich. Excellent! Recommend, or maybe not? Don't want it to get so busy I can't get in!

My wife and I have eaten here since its opened, when ever we eat out anywhere else, we always use Donatello's as the bench mark and not many come near, we love the food, drink and especially Roberto.

My husband and i visited the Ancora a few years ago and were quite impressed,we are renewing our wedding vows for 25years married on the 10th December and have booked for in total 15 people and lunch time,we really hope we wont be disappointed this time !!!!

visited momentum 6/11/11. had high expectations having visited red bar a few time. was NOT disappointed. greeted by very smart, polite staff. offered a table to have a drink at whilst my wife and 2 daughters and i looked at the menu. there was no rush. food was FANTASTIC, i had the cheese and onion pie, which might not sound too exciting but believe me it was great. really looking forward to our return!!!

La Torre just gets better and better, and I have given up trying to find anyone who can cook Spanish food as good as Dino, no microwaves here, everything is cooked fresh to order in the open kitchen for all to see, I only wish it was closer to my home then I would not have as far to travel, but defo worth the journey.

staff seemed indifferent, due to our unfamiliarity, restaurant was obviously full of locals who held the attention of the staff. food average to good, starter dis-appointing due to salad served slightly dry and at room temperature.. main course ok though.

Good pub and food except for the landlady who is the most rude and obnoxious woman I have ever met. The poor bar staff, I dont know how they manage to work for her!

Excellent food at a great price (8.95 5 courses mon to thurs 6.95 on Sundays). Recommended to a friend and its now their usual too. Can't wait to go back!

Great place - friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Terrific food at every stage and not expensive. Good wine list. Would definitely go again; in fact......booking for Christmas!

This is a restaurant I go to regularly. The food is superb, the prices are very reasonable, the service is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. It's a shame the place is not busier.

I really like the way you have refurbished the pub, its modern but cosy at the same time and i look forward to eating there in the future.

Visited last night for the first time for our first wedding anniversary, wow what a find from the moment we walked through the door we realised we had found somewhere special! Desi lounge staff make you feel welcome without, the attention to detail is exceptionally good. Cutlery would could see your face in and beautiful ornate silver serving terrines. Immediately we sat down warm poppadoms and a selection of dips where brought to the table. After this we had opportunity to look through the vast and I mean vast menu. Each meal is cooked to individual specifications and we were told the chef would make dishes either milder or hotter than on the menu. My husband went for Lamb chops for starter and I had the Prawn Puri, both were exquisite! For main course we both opted for the Desi Special a chicken dish cooked in cream and served with pilau rice! We then had a peshwari nan which is an absolute must between us! We have found the best indian restaurant in the North West! We have visited many but look forward to our next visit really soon!
